At our alpine retreat, tucked away from roads and noise, you’ll enjoy peace and relaxation, surrounded by forests and meadows, right in the heart of nature. You’ll stay in an outbuilding with a private entrance.Our property spans over 5 hectares, and you’re free to roam around it, spotting deer and hares—and sometimes even hedgehogs on their nighttime wanderings—as well as buzzards, owls, and the many birds lauschen.In, you can take wonderful hikes to nearby vineyards or drive or walk across the border into Slovenia, which runs very close to our alpine pasture.On the small terrace in front of your entrance, you might enjoy a glass of wine, tea, or coffee, or read an exciting book while relaxing in a lounge chair. The water lily pond is just a 5-minute drive away and is never crowded.There’s also a cosy inn with a terrace, and it’s a special treat to listen to the many frogs or admire the beautiful water lilies. The South Styria region is world-famous—it’s not for nothing that it’s called the “Tuscany of Austria.” It’s a “must-visit” for cyclists; if you don’t bring your own bikes, you can rent e-bikes right there.
