Subject: Refund Request — Undisclosed Cat Presence and Inadequate CleaningDear Vrbo Support / 5 Star Property Management,I am writing to request a full refund for my recent stay due to an undisclosed pet allergen issue and inadequate cleaning of the unit.I am highly allergic to cats. Nowhere in the listing was it disclosed that a cat lives in or has access to the unit. From the first day of our stay, I began sneezing, coughing, and feeling ill without knowing the cause.On checkout day, I asked my child to look under the beds and furniture for any belongings we might have dropped. In doing so, she discovered a cat bed, cat toys, and other cat-related items under the bed I had been sleeping in, as well as around the unit. When the cleaner arrived, she confirmed that she was aware of the cat items in the unit. The manager at 5 Star Property Management stated that this was a new client property and that she was unaware of the cat items, despite having walked the unit herself.I have photos and videos documenting these items throughout the unit.Because I unknowingly slept in a bed with cat allergens present, my condition worsened significantly. From Saturday to Monday, I was too ill to leave the unit except to visit Walgreens for medication. Now that I have returned home to South Carolina, my doctor has diagnosed me with a double respiratory infection, and I have incurred medical bills as a result.The presence of a cat was never disclosed, and the unit was not properl
