Huge 4 Bedroom Home - Private Pool & Spectacular Views

Short term rental and the permit number is STR20240150.
You will love the views from our spacious, 4,700 square foot, four bedroom home on beautiful Seabrook Island. Our large deck, with private pool, overlooks Captain Sam's Creek a tidal marsh with an abundance of wildlife. The house is walking or biking distance(1/4 mile) to the beach. It is one mile to the Beach Club; which has two pools, ocean views, restaurants, bars and beach access. Amenity Cards are provided with this rental. The beaches on Seabrook aren’t crowded, have gorgeous sunsets, and dolphins can be seen often (also from our back yard at times).

First Floor includes:
The master bedroom has a king bed, television, large full bathroom and sliding doors opening to the deck and pool which overlooks the marsh.
A second bedroom on the first floor has a king bed, television, and separate full bathroom.
There is a large kitchen with a breakfast area, living room, den with flat screen TV, formal dining room, powder room, and laundry room.

The deck has a private pool, lounge chairs, tables and chairs, and a gas grill.

Second floor includes:
There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed and a second with two double beds. They share a jack and jill bathroom.
There is a loft seating area prior to entering upstairs bedrooms. A covered balcony off the bedrooms allows you to take advantage of the views and enjoy watching your friends and family in the pool.

For activities
there are two beautiful award winning golf courses on the island ( Crooked Oaks & Ocean Winds) , tennis, crabbing, equestrian center(horse-back riding on the beach), swimming at the beach club, kayaking, pickle ball, bicycling, and a kid's camp.
Bohicket Marina is located just outside the gate offering restaurants, bars, powerboat rentals, fishing charters, paddle boarding and kayaking rentals.
Fresh Fields is 2.5 miles from the house its a shopping center where you can find anything you would need; Harris teeter, liquor stores, FortyEight -wine bar, La Tela Pizzeria, Java Java cafe, sushi bar, Ben&Jerry’s, a bunch of outfitters, day spas, beauty stores, Coopers etc.
A short drive and you're in historic Charleston with great dining, museums, South Carolina aquarium, shopping, and galleries.
Magnolia Gardens which is a beautiful day trip.

Gorgeous view!

The marsh location gets five stars alone! We loved the pool…many evenings spent floating and stargazing. Our family of six enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Linda is so easy to work with. Hopefully we will be able to come stay again!

Seabrook getaway

Our stay at Linda’s house was fabulous. She was a wonderful hostess and made our vacation trouble free. The house was better than advertised. Very spacious and extremely clean. The pool and marsh view were pleasant surprises. Very quiet neighborhood and would definitely consider renting there again on our next family trip to Seabrook.

Great property!

This house is HUGE-great for large families! The location is absolutely beautiful-cannot be beat for fishing-you will have to bike or drive to beach but not bad at all. The pool is AMAZING plus it is so nice to have the ammenities cards as well. Linda and John were super responsive to the few issues that we had. Would love to return to this property and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to vacation.

Best house on Seabrook

I have rented dozens of houses on Kiawah and Seabrook over the last 20 years, and this house was my absolute favorite. Beautiful marsh view of the sunrise, fantastic deck/pool area for entertaining and relaxing, and super spacious home, all within a short walk to the best part of the beach at Boardwalk #1 which is the closest to the dolphin strand-feeding area. Clean, comfy and well stocked. And as a bonus, Linda is a super nice owner who is very responsive. Book with total confidence. We will be back!

This home accommodated all of our family’s needs in every way imaginable! With 4 children they each had their own bed, the master was gorgeous, very comfortable beds, lots of windows and light, beautiful marsh views, peaceful setting. The pool water was always clean and a nice temperature. Close bike ride to North Beach. Bring beach towels, we forgot ours. Kitchen is well equipped and has festive dishes for entertaining. Very comfortable feeling in this home, we will definitely return next summer!

Perfect location on Seabrook’s Captain Sam’s Creek

We have stayed on Seabrook Island several times and we were happy to find a house to rent Captain Sam’s Creek. The house is well appointed with everything needed in the kitchen and bedrooms. Although it could use some updating, it is understandable for a rental to show some use. The pool doesn’t seem to be heated so it was a bit chilly since it was early April and it had been cold there. We rented kayaks and had easy access to the creek. Perfect mornings for coffee on the deck, super quick access to beach, we’ll be back for sure!

Our stay at Seabrook was amazing! We loved all the wildlife we saw and beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The house that we rented was exactly what we needed for a family of 8 adults and 3 small children one being a infant. The private pool was where we spent most of our time. Enjoying the wonderful views from the balcony and deck by the pool. The only complaint we had was the appliances in the kitchen did not work properly from the first day we got there. The refrigerator did not stay cold. We had to keep a lot of our cold stuff in coolers. There was a double oven, the bottom one didn’t even work and the top took for ever to heat up and did not cook evenly. So we had to use the small toaster oven to cook biscuit and other smaller stuff. We did not plan to eat out because of the children and we wanted enjoy the amenities at the house. But overall we enjoyed our stay and we would even stay there again if they get the appliances updated.

I know the oven was on it last leg and I was waiting for Sept. - Oct. went I get down there to replace the oven and the stove top. The way that renters beat up on things I try and wait till it needs to be replace. The refrigerator is working and I did send AVIV Appliance Repair to take a look to make sure that the refrigerator was working pay $189.00 so that they could tell us that it is working. I told them in the Summer months when it is so hot out, Saturday when it is the turn around and people are taking things out and it is being cleaned and then people are putting things back in it takes some time to get the refrigerator adjust back to normal. I hope you all do come back because I am always working on updating things. Next thing are all the bedrooms are getting new floors or carpets not sure yet but working on it.

Porta Potty with a View

Host does not maintain the house. The listing should not be valued at this price. This experience demonstrated poor communication both with the host and Vrbo. The issues that we experienced during this stay ultimately forced us to end our vacation early. Vrbo would not help with refund unless photo evidence of raw sewage under the house was provided. Our stay was marred by several significant issues, rendering our vacation far from enjoyable. These problems included: Live and dead cockroaches present in every room of the house. Roaches were seen crawling out of outlets and in sinks. Four different service professionals were present on the property for four days of our stay, more than half of our rental period, to address an onslaught of maintenance issues including electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, and cleaning service. The most distressing issue during our stay was the raw sewage leak. The leak and associated fumes rendered the property uninhabitable, forcing 10 guests to evacuate the premises. This incident not only disrupted our vacation plans but also posed a health and safety risk to a toddler, pregnant person, and older adults. Throughout our stay, the various maintenance issues and other concerns were met with a lack of care and responsiveness from the host. This uncooperative attitude left us feeling dismissed and stressed for what was meant to be a vacation. I wish there was a way to give 0 stars as I believe this is an accurate review.

I think it is very sad that you feel the need to type up a terrible review like this, that is not honest. You clearly were just on a mission to get your money back. I'm sorry you were not successful, but with no photo evidence of anything and the fact you stayed 5 nights in my home it doesn't seem like any of your issues were big enough to leave. You complained about the littlest things I tried to accommodate and fix even the slightest issue you had during your stay. I'm sorry I couldn't make you happy, but you can't please everyone. Linda

October Family Beach Trip 2022

Our family couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and spacious home for our October Family Beach Trip! This lovely home was perfect for our large family! We had everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen, lovely bathrooms, cozy den and grand entertaining great room! The large pool and amazing deck area was perfect for lots of family fun all week. We were so happy that the property was right near the marsh-perfect for viewing the gorgeous sunrises each day! Secluded in a quiet cul de sac, we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for our October Beach Trip!

A week in paradise

This was our fifth trip to Seabrook island and first time at this house. The trip included my wife and I plus our three kids and grandma. The house is enormous compared to other places we have stayed. The rooms are great size and exceeded every space expectation. It is further from the beach than some houses we have stayed in, but it was a 1 minute drive to the closest boardwalk … we only drove to avoid complaints from the kids. Having our own pool was life changing because of all the new rules at the beach front pool on the island. The kids enjoyed splashing around the pool at all hours, and parents enjoys the stunning view and quiet / secluded yard. We had some issues with the thermostat, but the property manager was easy to reach. The kitchen has a ton of dishes / equipment (microwave took a long time to heat anything up but everything else worked well); we were surprised that there were no spices/condiments etc… so plan to have your own. There were a lot more paper towels, toilet paper, soap than we typically find. We will definitely consider returning on our next trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
