Three bedrooms, a spacious terrace with pergola and a wood-fired hot tub in the enclosed garden: everything is in place for a stay where you can simply let go. The home runs entirely without natural gas and is powered by sustainable energy, without any compromise on comfort. The atmosphere is warm, well-maintained and personal throughout.

Inside, you will find an open kitchen with an induction hob, dishwasher, combination microwave and fridge-freezer. An electric feature fireplace adds character to the living room on cooler evenings, while the corner sofa invites you to linger long after dinner. The private sauna is ready for a quiet session after a day outdoors. The lodge also has air conditioning, free WiFi, a Smart TV with streaming functionality and a Nespresso machine for your morning coffee. The home welcomes up to two pets and includes a storage room for bikes and outdoor gear. Check-in is self-directed, at your own pace.

Park Berkenrhode: small-scale and welcoming at the forest's edgePark Berkenrhode is an intimate holiday park on the edge of the Veluwe forests. There is no mass tourism here, just a place where calm and genuine hospitality take centre stage. Walking trails and cycling routes start right at the park's edge. Prefer not to pedal yourself? Bikes, e-choppers and electric scooters are available to hire on site. After a day outdoors, Brasserie Luwe is the place to sit down for lunch, drinks or dinner in a welcoming setting. A breakfast and bread roll service, laundry facilities and a dog wash are also available at the park.

Veluwe: forests, heathland and space to breatheThe Veluwe is one of the most expansive and peaceful natural areas in the Netherlands. Vast forests, open heathland and sand dunes shift with the seasons. In spring the landscape comes alive, in summer light filters through the treetops, and in autumn the forest turns a rich shade of gold. An early morning walk might bring you face to face with wildlife. Cyclists will find a network of routes that keep you going for hours without ever retracing your path.

The home has 3 bedrooms: one room with 2 beds pushed together, one room with 2 separate beds and one room with a bunk bed.

The wood-fired hot tub takes 3 to 4 hours to heat up. Firewood is ready and waiting on arrival. Your presence is required when lighting the fire. Instructions are available in the Berkenrhode app.

The hot tub cannot be used on the day of departure.

The sauna requires 1 to 2 hours to reach temperature. Instructions are available in the Berkenrhode app.

The outdoor fireplace is a decorative feature and may not be used.

The garden is enclosed by fencing approximately 90 cm in height.

Pets are welcome, with a maximum of 2.
