Adorable 2-bedroom cabin in the CONECUH National Forest for your getaway

Forest Bathe at Cabin in the CONECUH located S of Andalusia near the Florida line just over an hour from the panhandle beaches from Destin to Pensacola. Approx an hour from Pensacola Airport. In 80 miles of national forest. Hiking, canoeing, four wheeling. Your own private nature trailhead just outside cabin door. You might encounter a Gopher Turtle by one of the many dens around the property. See pic of Tony just outside Cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, Custom Built Farm Table from very old Red Fir, custom antique and stained glass windows fill the tractor garage opening. Kitchen cabinets from old tool boxes. Original Fireplace Mantle from 1901 Farmhouse. Cypress beams from original Farmhouse. New King and Queen beds, Custom kitchen counter. Pallet coffee table. Electrolux washer dryer.
Peaceful and tranquil, you might see a variety of animals or hear farm animals while sitting outside on the patio. Last pic is of a rare Jaquarundi passing by the pole barn.
Enjoy the Historic Cypress Barn Living Room. Antique farm equipment setting right where the farmer left them over 100 years ago. Swim in Clear Lake Jackson Park 20 min. Stop by Sweet South Market on way to Blue Lake with Hiking Trails all around just 10 min away. Ponce de Leon and Morrison Springs. Andalusia Animal Adventures where all kinds of animals are trained for movies just 10 min. The Grizzly Rescue about hr away has many activities. Visit the Hank Williams museum and childhood home. Or just chill at the Cabin…..

This property was absolutely charming—quaint, spotless, and very easy to find. From the moment I arrived, the secure setting made me feel completely safe and comfortable. The cabin itself was adorable and surprisingly spacious, with beautiful handmade touches that added a rustic, cozy feel. The two bedrooms were immaculate and inviting, one with a queen bed and the other with a king. Everything in the cabin worked perfectly, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the evenings, and having the option to watch TV was a nice bonus. The cabin stayed wonderfully cool during the hot summer days and was perfectly comfortable at night. The Thompsons at JaxFarm were incredibly helpful and gracious. They answered all my questions promptly and suggested several wonderful places to visit while we were in the area. Their kindness and hospitality truly enhanced our stay. Overall, this was an outstanding experience. The property is thoughtfully maintained, welcoming, and full of character. Sandy and John are fantastic hosts, and I recommend their property 100%.
