Welcome to our approximately 65-square-meter holiday apartment, “Klatschmohn,” in the beautiful volcanic Eifel village of Wallscheid. The well-known Maare-Mosel Bike Trail is about 500 metres away, and within a 20-kilometer radius you’ll find the “Eyes of the Eifel”—the famous maars. The Burgenklettersteig via ferrata in Manderscheid is 7 km away. At Klatschmohn, you’ll find an open-concept living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven, large induction cooktop, dishwasher, and microwave. On cold days, enjoy cosy moments by our wood-burning stove; firewood is provided free of charge. The bedroom features a large double bed (2.00 x 1.80 m), a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers, providing ample space during your stay. Our modern bathroom features a large rain shower and massage shower. From the dining room, five small steps lead out to the patio and into the garden. Here you’ll find seating and relaxation areas. In the storage room, we’ve provided an ironing board, iron, cleaning supplies, and more for your use during your holiday. We’d be happy to show you around our beautiful Vulkaneifel region upon request and offer guided hiking and/or biking tours.

“Klatschmohn” is a non-smoking apartment. Please understand that we do not allow pets. 



On-site costs: At “Klatschmohn,” your beds will be made upon arrival. Dishes and towels are provided free of charge. We also offer a lockable storage area for your bicycles upon request. Firewood for the fireplace in the living room is available on the terrace at no charge. Please note that our local municipality charges a guest fee of €1.50 per person per night, which we collect in cash on site. 



Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
