Ideal for hiking or climbing in the area around the Flatzer Wand Nature Park, Hohe Wand, Johannisbachklamm, cycling on the Mühlradlweg, Schwarzatalradweg, thermal spa cycle path, mountain biking, thermal spa visits to the nearby Linsberg-Asia Therme or Würflacher Wellness World. Excursions to the Vienna Alps: Hohe Wand, Schneeberg, Semmering, Rax, Wechsel etc. In winter, the ski areas on Semmering are ideal for skiing or the panoramic cross-country ski trails in the Vienna Alps on Semmering, Wechsel, Schneeberg, Hohe Wand. Vienna can be reached in about an hour by car or train. The situation is similar with Lake Neusiedl or Hungary. Culinary specialties in the surrounding area are the "Mostheurigen", a little further, from Bad Fischau to the Baden area, the Weinheurigen. Baden also has one of the most beautiful casinos in Austria. Castle freaks will particularly get their money's worth here. In the immediate vicinity of the Neunkirchen district (around the accommodation) there are around 50 castles, ruins and palaces.
