Ahoy and a warm welcome to our holiday rental “Sandburg”! With a cosy living area and a sunny balcony, it’s ideal for your family holiday.

In the open living area, complete with a full kitchenette, dining table, and sofa corner, you can enjoy relaxing holiday days. Here, you can sit together in peace, play games, read, watch films, or listen to music. Some games and books are provided.

The kitchenette, equipped with a ceramic cooktop, microwave, and dishwasher, makes self-catering a breeze. For coffee lovers, there’s a classic coffee maker as well as a fully automatic Senseo machine.

Sleeping arrangements include two easy-to-fold-out fold-down beds in the living area (each 180 cm x 200 cm). These can be easily tucked away behind a stylish wall unit. One of the double beds can be separated by a movable partition.

The sunny, covered balcony invites you to enjoy wonderfully relaxing moments with the refreshing North Sea air! Letting the sun shine on your face, reading a holiday novel, or simply letting your mind wander is a wonderful holiday experience.

You’ll have free Wi-Fi access for browsing on your smartphone.

For leisure, there’s a ping-pong table in the house.

You’re welcome to bring a small dog (please enquire in advance; max. 1).

General information:

A convenient robotic vacuum cleaner is available. The washing machine and dryer are located in the basement of House 18c on the left (the door is labelled). A cot and a high chair are also available. Free parking spaces are available in front of the house, and there is a designated area for bicycles. Smoking is permitted only on the balcony; we appreciate your understanding.

Enjoy the best time of the year on the island of Borkum—with refreshing North Sea air, the glistening waves, and 100% relaxation! The “Holiday Residenz II” offers the perfect conditions for a restful holiday.

The holiday apartments are located in the “Holiday Residenz II” complex. It’s centrally located on Richthofenstraße, yet quiet and not right in the heart of town. In the town centre itself (800 m away), small shops, cafés, and restaurants invite you to take a leisurely stroll. After 1.5 km (a 6-minute bike ride), you’ll reach the beautiful sandy beach and the promenade. From the complex, you can enjoy relaxing walks and bike rides through Borkum’s natural surroundings.

From the ferry terminal, the narrow-gauge train runs all the way to the town centre. From there, the apartments are still about 950 m away. Upon your arrival, taxis will be available to take you and your luggage to your holiday rental. The complex is easily accessible by car and offers parking spaces for cars and bicycles right in front of the building.

In front of the complex is the Nabrotzky Island Bakery—perfect for fresh breakfast rolls.
