Welcome to our exclusive Chalet Strandjuwel, set in a prime waterfront location with breathtaking views across the IJsselmeer. One of the highlights of this unique retreat is its second terrace right by the water, complete with comfortable lounge furniture and evening sunshine – the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

The entire garden at Chalet Strandjuwel is fully enclosed.

Our new, stylishly furnished premium chalet boasts a spacious garden, private parking and two sunny terraces with beautiful water views. With two bedrooms, an open-plan living and dining area and a modern kitchen, the chalet accommodates up to four guests – ideal for water lovers and families with two children. Your four-legged friend is very welcome too.

The spacious 70 m² holiday chalet also features a modern bathroom with natural daylight and a rainfall shower, as well as a separate guest WC off the hallway. The bright living area invites you to relax with a dining table, comfortable L-shaped sofa, swivel TV, electric fireplace and two armchairs. A Smart TV and high-speed internet provide plenty of entertainment, while the fully equipped kitchen blends seamlessly into the open-plan living space.

Our chalets combine comfort with sustainability and are completely energy-neutral, thanks to heat pumps and solar panels. Newly developed in 2021, the holiday park is beautifully designed, with thoughtfully landscaped chalets and gardens throughout.

The holiday park also offers an indoor swimming pool, a children’s playground and a restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace and lounge area. Bicycles and electric scooters can be hired from reception. The washing machine and tumble dryer listed under the amenities are located in the park’s central shower building and are available from Easter until the end of October.

With the IJsselmeer right outside the chalet, its shallow waters are perfect for water sports enthusiasts, whether you enjoy swimming, kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddling or stand-up paddleboarding.

About Our Holiday Park

Our holiday park delights its guests with its unique location on the IJsselmeer. It is situated close to the town of Enkhuizen, known for its seventeenth-century historic centre and numerous listed buildings. If you love being by, in, or on the water, you’ve come to the right place!

Enkhuizen lies at the easternmost tip of North Holland, surrounded by the waters of the IJsselmeer. Thanks to this exceptional location, the town is very popular with tourists. Its harbour and fantastic watersports opportunities attract enthusiasts year after year. Have you always wanted to try kitesurfing or learn to sail? Enkhuizen is the perfect place to do just that, as the local watersports centre offers plenty of opportunities.

Our chalets are just a short distance from the water. In no time at all, you can be on the sandy beach, ready to jump straight into the cool water. All the holiday homes in our park are built sustainably and equipped with heat pumps and solar panels. Our front-row chalets offer the luxury of direct access to the IJsselmeer.

Culture and Historic Towns of North Holland

From our park, you can quickly reach the historic centre of Enkhuizen on foot or by bike, where time seems to have stood still. The monumental buildings, old defensive works, and the Zuiderzee Museum instantly transport you back to the Dutch Golden Age. Close by is the picturesque town of Medemblik, where quaint houses and characteristic gables line the narrow streets. Explore the medieval Radboud Castle or learn all about beer brewing at the Radboud city brewery.

Other beautiful towns in the area include Hoorn and Alkmaar, famous for its cheese. A trip to Amsterdam is also well worth it – from our Enkhuizen station, which offers free parking, you can reach the city centre in around 50 minutes by train.
