The Deichhof is located in the town of Dunsum, which lies in the western part of the island of Föhr. It’s situated on the quiet high street running through the village and stretches all the way to the expansive meadows that border directly on the North Sea dike—just 500 m away—nestled right in the heart of nature. The Deichhof can thus be considered an oasis of tranquility.

Behind the front door, a cosy and lovingly furnished 3-room holiday apartment awaits you. All rooms are directly accessible from the hallway. The living-dining room captivates with its magnificent view towards the dike. During the summer months, you can enjoy Föhr’s most beautiful sunsets from the comfort of the sofa. In addition to the cosy sofa area—equipped with a flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player, and radio (FM/Internet radio/USB) ensures great entertainment even on rainy days, there’s a dining area with a dining table and 4 chairs, as well as a built-in kitchen that offers every convenience despite its compact size. There you’ll find a large fridge-freezer, a large dishwasher, a stove/oven, as well as a coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a (rain) shower/bathtub, a washing machine, a hair dryer, and a makeup mirror. The master bedroom features a built-in closet, 2 dressers, and—as a special feature—2 interior doors, one on each side of the bed, which offers several advantages, especially at night. Additionally, the deep windowsill here can also be used as a changing table. The second bedroom is equipped with a built-in closet, a sleeper sofa, a desk, a clothes rack, and a small library along with a mini video library.

The Deichhof is the perfect starting point for long walks by the sea, mudflat hikes to Amrum, and what is arguably the most beautiful sunset in the North Sea region.
