Our beautiful and cosy holiday home was built in 1872 and has been lovingly renovated in recent years. You’ll enjoy your own home with a sauna in the heart of a tranquil small town with a historic centre.
The accommodation
The ground floor of this 85-square-meter townhouse features the living and dining area, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. The spacious living room features a sleeper sofa that sleeps two, a 65-inch Smart TV, and a dining area. Here, the natural materials used in the house—such as the solid wood floorboards and clay walls—really shine and create a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen includes a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an oven with induction cooktops, and a sink area. The selection of kitchen utensils available allows you to prepare a variety of meals. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in rain shower, a toilet, a sink, and a washing machine.
The attic is accessible via an open staircase. There you’ll find the bedroom with a comfortable double bed (200 x 180 cm), a wardrobe, and a desk. The light-filled room can be kept cool with the help of heat-protective awnings. Blackout blinds make it easy to sleep in late on holiday until the cockerel crows late in the morning.
In the garden, a covered patio offers the opportunity to sit outside and barbecue. Across the lawn, you’ll find the wood-fired igloo sauna, which invites you to relax. On cloudless nights, we recommend lying on the garden loungers to gaze up at the sky and watch the stars. If you’re interested in exploring the area, the house’s bicycles are also available for use at no extra charge. Possible destinations include the nearest swimming lakes or the Hanseatic city of Stendal; following the Elbe Cycle Route downstream will take you to the Arneburg viewing platform.
