Inside
The open living and dining area, with a gas fireplace, is made for family dinners and movie nights. The chef's kitchen has Italian appliances, custom cabinetry, and designer tile. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king bed, desk, TV and large closet, plus an ensuite bath with double sinks and a spa shower. The second bedroom sleeps three with a twin and a full bed. The hallway bath has double sinks and a tub/shower. Upper-level washer and dryer make longer stays simple. With extra guests, the living room sofa opens to a comfortable double bed (bedding provided).

Room to spread out
The converted garage is now a spacious rec room, a great spot for kids and teens to burn off energy while the adults relax upstairs.

Outside
Eat on the deck or roast s'mores at the built-in fire pit, with six Adirondack chairs and s'mores forks provided. Grab the beach wagon and chairs from the shed and walk to the soft-sand beach. Borrow GHCA kayaks or bring your own to launch at the dock on Green Hill Pond, a short walk from the house. After a fun day outdoors, rinse off in the outdoor shower. A retractable clothesline is available under the deck to easily dry suits and towels.

Green Hill Civic Association perks
Your stay includes access to the private Green Hill Civic Association (GHCA):

Tennis and pickleball: Pickleball paddles and some balls are in the house. A key is provided for the tennis court shed, where you can borrow racquets. We recommend bringing fresh balls.

Kayaks and paddleboarding: GHCA kayaks are marked on the rack at the dock on Green Hill Pond, a short walk from the house. A key to the dock shed lets you borrow paddles and life vests, which are required in RI. You're welcome to bring your own kayak or paddleboard to launch from the dock.

Picnic area and dock for the whole family.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in September. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The home was lovely and immaculate. The kitchen was well appointed, and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location was quiet and peaceful, and only a short walk to the most beautiful beach. We enjoyed sitting by the firepit in the evening, watching the stars come out. Host Wendy was very communicative and welcoming. One thing to note is that there are a lot of stairs in the house, in case that's an issue. We recommend this home highly and would love to return!

Thank you, Lucy and George, for such a kind review, and for staying with us! We're so glad you enjoyed the quiet, the beach, and evenings by the fire pit. Thank you also for the note about the stairs. New homes built this close to the ocean are elevated a full story, so the living space is upstairs, and we'll make that clearer in the listing. We'd love to welcome you back anytime! - Wendy and Steve

I've dreamed of hosting guests since I was a little girl, with "Pleasant View Cottage" in my backyard (a playhouse built by my grandfather). I enjoyed decorating it and even made my own "Pleasant View Cottage" stationary for guests.

All grown up, my husband and I rented the same cottage on Martha's Vineyard for over a decade, bringing our kids to what felt like our second home every summer. We hope that this home on Rosebriar Avenue will become a special place for families that will visit and hopefully return to enjoy the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, tennis, pickleball, the fire pit - a relaxing fun spot to bond as a family.

Why they chose this property

We had been looking for a home to offer to guests for about four years. When we walked onto the spectacular soft beach and looked out at the ocean, just a 0.3 mile walk from our front door, we knew this was the place. We could picture ourselves ten years ago with a wagon and backpack chairs, taking our kids down to play. The brand new association dock, also such a short walk is perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking, which we both love to do. My husband likes to fish, we love to bike, I am learning pickleball and our son loves tennis. What is NOT to love about Green Hill? We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon it, and it's been incredible how friendly the neighbors have been since we purchased the property in August 2026.

What makes this property unique

I am hoping to turn the basement into a fun hangout for kids. We provide LEGO, games, puzzles, a huge television and we are looking into foosball tables for summer 2027. We envision parents relaxing upstairs while the kids can make a ruckus down below. My daughter is planning a big beach mural for the giant white wall.
