This bright one-room apartment, “Küstenliebe”—located on the ground floor of a single-family home—is accessible by stairs and comfortably furnished. Nostalgia meets modernity: The wonderful “engagement sofa” invites you to take a little nap while you spend your nights in the beautiful double bed (140x200). It features a kitchenette with a ceramic cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and plenty of dishes. It’s fully equipped to prepare small treats, and there’s both a coffee machine and a Bodum coffee maker. The shower room is bright and modern in design. In the living/sleeping area, you’ll find not only a cosy rocking chair but also a small writing desk and plenty of shelves and cabinets for your personal belongings. Satellite TV (flat-screen, 73x43), game collections, and various books are provided for your entertainment. In the central storage area in the hallway, these items—as well as standard cleaning equipment and supplies—are kept accessible to all guests; an ironing station is also provided. You can park your bicycles next to the barbecue area.



Friendly (house-trained) dogs (no other pets) are welcome “guests,” and a maximum of 2 dogs may accompany you in this apartment. They must be registered and may not be left alone in the accommodation. One-time final cleaning surcharge of €30.00 per dog. Two dog-friendly beaches—one on the cliffs and one next to the surfing beach—are within easy walking distance (approximately 1.8 and 3.5 km from your apartment).
Heidkate Beach even has a water sports school, bathrooms, and a snack bar.

The apartment is equipped with the property’s own mattress protectors, pillows, and blankets; please bring your own beach towels and blankets.



It’s about 500 m to the supermarket with a café, skate park, and children’s adventure area, and about 800 m to the bike and boat rental; the bus stop is just 200 m away. 
It doesn’t get any fresher than this: You can get fish caught that very day straight from the boat at the marina, about 600 m from your apartment—where you can also enjoy hot meals.

A sauna wagon with a view of the Baltic Sea, a large children’s adventure park, a skate park, tennis courts, and much more right in town. Take advantage of beauty and wellness treatments, which you can book at the spa hotel within walking distance (indoor and outdoor pools available).

On the beach, there’s a water sports school offering rentals of SUP and surf equipment, among other things. Small playgrounds along the newly redesigned promenade, an ice cream parlour, and Steffen Henssler’s Ahoi restaurant—perched on a hill with a unique view of the marina—are now open. Another attraction in Wendtorf is the indoor arcade at the start of the promenade. A golf course and fitness club are just a few minutes’ drive away.
