The Steamboat House, Pelican Parlor-Bed&Breakfast Style Experience Natchitoches

Named after the ladies' quarters of a steamboat, this room is sophisticated and elegant. It features a private full bathroom and access to the upstairs balcony. This bedroom is upstairs with a private entrance from the main staircase. The Pelican Parlor can be booked alone or adjoining with the Crow's Nest. It makes the perfect booking combination if you have teens or additional guests in your party!

Breakfast is included with your stay. We offer an assortment of fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings galore! Coffee and juice are also available.

The innkeepers live on-site and are available to assist guests however they might need.

We have two resident pets on our property. Interaction with the resident pets is at the guests' discretion. The fur babies are not allowed in any of the guest quarters upstairs. If you would like to have some animal bonding time, the innkeeper is more than happy to arrange a petting session for you!

Our cat: Maycie Gray is 18 years old and spends most of her time dozing off curled up and comfy. She absolutely adores pets. Make sure to watch your step as you pass through common areas because Maycie is a tiny girl, but very curious and sociable.

Our dog: Abbie is our 6-year-old Boxer mix rescue. She is extremely gentle and quiet, but she also loves attention. Like Maycie, she spends most of her time curled up and dozing.
