Surrounded by fields and meadows, this stately, historic building from 1869 stands in the midst of a 16,000 m² park enclosed by a 1.2 m-high fence, offering sweeping panoramic views of the countryside. Absolute tranquility, plenty of space, and the thatched-roof stable, which shields the property from prying eyes—here you can enjoy pure exclusivity and privacy.

The Accommodation

With approximately 400 m² of living space, the Forsthof can accommodate up to 10 guests and 3 dogs. Each of the six bedrooms is a retreat with its own elegant en suite bathroom—hotel-style comfort in a private atmosphere.
The current owners have renovated the property with great attention to detail, combining historic charm with modern luxury. Inside, you’ll find:

A special highlight is the wine cellar in the historic vaulted cellar, where a fine selection of fine wines awaits—perfect for enjoying in a stylish setting.
Relaxation is provided by the two-person sauna and the hot tub in the garden, where wellness and nature blend harmoniously.

The Park

The expansive private park, with its old trees, romantic hideaways, and endless views of the countryside, invites you to linger, play, or read. Right outside the door, walks and hikes begin across fields and through forests—with a little luck, in the company of storks, cranes, deer, hares, or foxes.

Design & Atmosphere

The interior design is clean, bright, and minimalist, characterised by high-quality materials, select design brands, and subtle colour accents. This makes the Forsthof a stylish gathering place for families, friends, and small groups—and dogs are also welcome.

Location

Nestled in the idyllic lake landscape of West Mecklenburg, not far from the state capital of Schwerin, the Forsthof is a perfect starting point. In addition to the tranquility of nature, charming small towns, picturesque villages, and historic churches, castles, and palaces beckon. You can relax on bike rides, walks, or while roaming through fields, forests, and meadows.
