Beautiful Callantsoog

It was such an beautiful and relaxing short trip. The apartment is really nice with a beautiful big patio. But there was no dishwasher in the kitchen as mentioned in the description of the apartment

Dass deutsche Urlauber in Holland ein anderes Niveau an Ferienwohnungen erwartet war uns bekannt.Die Wohnung war alt und nur durch eine zumindest abschließbare Tür von der Wohnung der Eigentümerin abgetrennt. Die Betten waren sehr grenzwertig. Aus Sicht meiner Frau war die Reinigung im Vorfeld wohl auch nur halbherzig gemacht worden.Die Damen von Callinghe Vacanties waren sehr freundlich und haben alle Fragen zu unserer Zufriedenheit beantworten können.Die Dachterrasse ist wunderschön. Leider war das Wetter (heftige Gewitter - meist nachts, starke Regenschauer und extreme Wind-/Sturmboen) so schlecht, dass wir sie kaum nutzen konnten.Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral am Dorfplatz auf dem sich alles abspielt. Die Wege sind daher sehr kurz.Leider hat die Wohnung keinen Parkplatz. Das hatte ich aber bei Buchung "überflogen" - war mein Fehler. Lediglich zum Be- und Entladen durften wir auf den Hinterhof fahren. Ansonsten haben wir auf einem der wenigen Dauerparkplätze gestanden - ca. 500m entfernt.Der Ort ist recht klein, liegt aber sehr malerisch in der hügeligen Dünenlandschaft und hat bei Ankunft bereits einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen.

Schöne Wohnung

Wohnung ist sehr schön, Lage zentral. Das bedeutet, dass weder Auto noch Fahrräder an der Wohnung abgestellt werden können. Für das Auto gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze in der Nähe. Die Fahrräder mussten auf dem Martplatz abgestellt werden. Das fanden wir nicht so gut.
