Flachshaus Boutique Apartments

In May 2024, we opened our boutique holiday home in Aidling-Riegsee. The holiday home is new and built sustainably; it is stylish and very cosy, featuring high-quality materials such as herringbone oak parquet, natural shell limestone, high-quality linen textiles, and comfortable box-spring beds.

We are in the final stages of completing the new holiday home. The garden, complete with a wooden deck and a wooden walkway leading to the entrance, has been landscaped.
The herringbone and oak plank floors have been installed; the bathrooms are fitted with high-quality natural stone and natural stone showers; the bathroom walls have been finished with a natural mineral lime plaster; and the walls in the living areas have been painted in a warm shade of grey. The cosy box-spring beds and sofas are already in place, and the elegant linen curtains will be hung in a few days.
In mid-April, our carpenter will install the two kitchens, mount the balcony railings and decorative room dividers on the balconies, and install the toilets, sinks, and light fixtures.

As soon as the rooms are more complete and photogenic, we’ll have professional photos taken, which I’ll then post online immediately.
The holiday home features (see floor plans) two living levels, each with a small kitchen-diner and a cosy sitting area, as well as two living rooms that—much like in a hotel suite—are separated only by an airy room divider from a sleeping area with a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a natural stone shower. Two additional double bedrooms (one of which has an extra sleeping loft) with en-suite bathrooms and natural stone showers, 1 alcove room with 2 single beds, 2 separate bathrooms, 2 landscaped, furnished southwest-facing terraces, and 2 southwest-facing balconies.
Our holiday home is a green building featuring innovative solar roof tiles.

The Flachshaus is located just 2 kilometres from the beautiful Riegsee and the Aidlinger swimming area with its wooden dock and swimming island, as well as views of the mountains. Numerous cycling and hiking loops through the most beautiful natural landscape start right outside the front door. Free parking is available on the property.
