The property was clean and recently updated. We had been staying in Port Townsend when visiting the peninsula, but this will be our go to in the future.
This was our second time staying in room 4 and it was great

A great spot to relax in a stunningly beautiful area--sort of a basecamp for hiking and exploring...
Loved the tasteful contemporary decor, the gorgeous plantings and hanging baskets, the outstanding cleanliness, and the access to the Pacific Northwest outdoors. We hope to come back!

Quilcene hideaway
Great place for a getaway in the middle of the woods. Beautifully decorated. Cozy.
The location and access are great. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bed/bath/kitchen supplies were satisfyingly complete and clean. The outdoor covered picnic areas are a nice bonus, as is the adjacent coffee kiosk! I would stay again.

Very Happy
It’s by a lot of campgrounds and general stores. Easy to find something to do for the day and then come here to relax. I love the coffee stand by the property. Another plus was the gazebo, many benches and covered seating area to enjoy the yard space outside.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Tasteful contemporary updating —loved it —in lovely setting near a multitude of hiking trails of varying difficulty. Terrific free-standing coffee and snack stand run by friendly family who seemed to know every customer by name. ALSO, room had real mugs and glass glasses —not iota of disposable, single -use plastics. Hooray! Would happily stay at Mt Walker Inn again!!

May 19th, 2024 Stay
Our room was very clean, and comfortable! The constant bombardment of emails and text messages from the managing company was absolutely outrageous…. Our stay was great except for that.

Thank you for your review, Rich. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed our home but we are so sorry for the annoying communication on our end. We want to be communicative and provide thorough instructions for our guests stay. We will use this as a learning experience and we hope to have the opportunity to impress you again very soon!

Cute motel room
This is a unique place to stay. It's one of like 6 hotel rooms, all in a row. There's plenty of space and a large closet without a door, but oddly nothing with drawers. The water pressure is amazing as is the black out shade. For the price, it was totally worth it.

The only choice we had.
Was accessible for my handicapped husband . Had three adults and the bed arrangement made it very uncomfortable . To get in and out of bed during the night.
Response from VrboOwner on 12 Jul, 2023
Hi Carolyn, thank you for sharing your experience. We apologize that we didn't meet your expectations with the bed arrangement. We will continue to work with your local staff and we appreciate this feedback as an area to improve upon in the future. We hope to host you again soon!

Security system
Very difficult to lock/unlock room even when using the alternate key method instead of a long combination code. Terrible tv channel choices and no instructions. Utensils but no dishware. Unable to exit bathroom when the refrigerator was opened.
Phone number didn't seem to give local help.
