The condo was very clean and comfortable. Lots of places within walking distance and close to the college campus. The host was very informative and helpful and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend

Beautiful home on the fourth floor above some nice little restaurants. The "smart" ac will not stay where you set it, so be prepared to double check it. Traffic from outside can be heard pretty clearly so if you are from a small town you may not sleep well. Beds were a 6 or 7 out of 10. All in all, a nice but small area. Felt a little expensive for what it is though.

Thanks for the kind words about the home. Street/traffic noise is inherent to a downtown Birmingham location and not something we can control. We have had the thermostat looked at and are hopeful the previously programmed settings have been cleared. We are happy to host you again next time you are in the area.

This was not a bad apartment but unfortunately, it was in an unsafe area. You are not able to access the building from the parking lot. When I was walking from the parking lot into the building, there was a man staying just outside of the parking area. I was able to get into the building okay and I went back outside to get the rest of my stuff. As I was walking back to my car, the man started following me and doing a sexually suggestive dance. It scared me to the point that I got in my car and drove around the block. When I came back, I parked somewhere else closer to the building but the man again began walking toward me as I entered. I carried some stuff up to the room and left to go back to the hospital. I didn't feel comfortable unloading the rest of my things because I was intending to work at the condo and brought all of my computer equipment (3 monitors and 2 laptops) from home. I immediately messaged the host and asked him if there was anything he could do such as move me into another one of his condos around town. He responded, told me he couldn't put me anywhere else, and explained that I should call 911 if I ever felt unsafe in a public area. I went back to the apartment later and the man was still standing there in front of the parking deck. Unfortunately after that incident I decided I would not stay there. As I said, the accommodations are nice but I would not go there if you are alone.

I travel to Birmingham a good bit for my mother’s medical care. We picked this place since it was extremely close to The Kirklin Clinic. The space was very comfortable and convenient, I would gladly stay here again. The host was extremely easy to communicate with, and was fast to respond to any of my questions.
