About this property

Fjord Holiday Lodge with a breathtaking panorama

Our typically Norwegian fjord holiday lodge is built in a traditional-modern style and blends perfectly into the fjord landscape. The cabin is located in a small cabin area, offering incredible panoramic views of the fjord and inviting you to take long hikes. In the evening, you can relax in a comfortable armchair with a good book and a view of the fjord. The fireplace provides warmth, and you can end the day in the sauna.

The cabin's furnishings are of very high quality, designed by an interior designer, and offer everything you need for you and your loved ones.

There are 9 sleeping spaces in 4 bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size double bed (180x200cm).
Bedroom 2 has a double bunk bed (bottom: 120x200cm, top: 90x200cm).
Bedroom 3 has a triple bunk bed (bottom: 140x200cm and top: 90x200cm).
Bedroom 4 has a queen-size double bed (140x200cm).

The property has two full bathrooms.
Bathroom 1 has an electric sauna and a walk-in shower.
Bathroom 2 has a walk-in shower.

The area with bedrooms 3 and 4, as well as bathroom 2, can be separated from the rest of the house by a sliding door, making it ideal as a family retreat.

In the immediate vicinity of the cabin lies a small stream and the entrance to a beautiful forest. Adventures both big and small await you here. A hiking trail begins directly behind the cabin, leading to Lake Herjevatnet. The ascent to the 1086-meter-high Tarløysa mountain is also possible from here.

This region is known for its fjord and mountain landscape and offers numerous hiking tours of all levels of difficulty. Guided tours are also available, some of which include climbing elements. The nearby town of Andalsnes is known as the alpine center of Norway and offers a variety of excursion options. Romsdalseggen, Trollstigen, Trollveggen, the Raumaban, and many other attractions are in the immediate vicinity.

The Rose City of Molde, which is also served by the Hurtigruten, is only 20 km away and offers all the amenities of a larger city. Restaurants, shops, a shopping mall, and other recreational opportunities can be found here.
Driving a little further north, you will find the world-famous Atlantic Road, which has been voted the most beautiful road in the world several times. 70 km along the Atlantic coast to the southwest is the Art Nouveau town of Alesund, home to a unique marine aquarium, the "Atlantic Park." From the mountain "Aksla" you have a fascinating view of the city's architecture and the surrounding islands and majestic fjords.

Even in winter, the region around the Fjord Holiday Lodge offers a lot for nature lovers. A cross-country ski trail runs around Herjevatnet Lake, and mountain hikes and ski touring are possible throughout the region. Snowshoes are perfect for exploring the winter landscape, and sledding down the trails to the lodge is a wonderful way to enjoy a true winter wonderland.

The nearest opportunity for downhill skiing is the Rauma Ski Area and the Molde Ski Center. Here, you can ski and snowboard with unparalleled views of the fjord. An unforgettable experience. A little further away, a good hour south, is the Björli Ski Resort, which offers a very long ski season from November to May. The Rauma Railway, familiar from films like "007" and "Harry Potter," takes you from Andalsnes to Björli.

Let yourself be enchanted by Norway's unique nature and enjoy unforgettable moments.

Amazing house with beautiful views! This house was absolutely perfect for my family. It was well suited for kids. We had 5 adults and one child. It was clean, had a great kitchen, the check in process was easy, and the property manager was quick to respond to messages. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We had the best time at this house and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in the area.
