This brand-new holiday rental is located near a sprawling forest (Haard), heathland, and lakes, right on the Roman Route in the Haltern-Flaesheim district. Nearby, the blue ribbon of the Lippe River winds its way through the green countryside. The Wesel-Datteln Canal, with its lock and the Maifisch ferry across the Lippe, is also within walking distance. A small recreational boat marina (Marina Flaesheim) with dining options is easily accessible by bike. Thanks to good transport connections, the cities of the Ruhr region—with their sights and treasures of industrial heritage—are just a short drive away (30–45 minutes by car).

At the same time, you’ll find yourself in the Münsterland region, which offers an interesting contrast to the Ruhr area. The university town of Münster, with its impressive city centre, is also within easy reach. The city centre area of Haltern am See, with good shopping (including many service-oriented, owner-operated stores) and restaurants around the market square, is about 6 km away. The beautiful Westruper Heide area, with its lovely hiking trails, is only about 2.3 km away, and the reservoirs are about 5 km away. The surrounding area is ideal for biking, Nordic walking, or hiking. A climbing park right on the Haltern Reservoir is also accessible by bike, as are an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The many recreational opportunities promise a varied and enjoyable stay. Right in the Flaesheim area, there’s a bakery with a café within walking distance; the nearest supermarkets are about 4 km from the holiday rental.

The Apartment
This modernly furnished holiday rental is located in the basement of an exclusive single-family home in the Flaesheim area of Haltern (at the entrance to the town). It features a separate entrance and its own small terrace. The apartment is suitable for 1 to 2 people. Renovated in 2019 and completely refurnished, this bright holiday rental features a bedroom, a large living room with a dining area, a separate kitchen with additional seating, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. There is also an entryway and a storage room. The bright living room features floor-to-ceiling windows and a patio door leading to the small terrace (seating for 2 people provided)
