The various living areas are open yet thoughtfully and comfortably divided. In addition to a living-dining area, there is a sleeping area with a double bed, an open-concept bathroom with a small sauna, and a separate bathroom. Outside, you’ll find two furnished sun terraces.

With a private sauna in the holiday home, you can enjoy your holiday in both the warm and cold seasons. The holiday home has everything you need for self-catering. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the fireplace, a full day in the sauna, or simply some sunny relaxation in the garden.

The two spacious terraces are furnished with patio furniture and a SunLounge. The roomy living and dining area, complete with a TV and air conditioning, features a high-quality kitchen equipped with a dishwasher. A parking space on the property and a charging station for electric vehicles are also available to you.

The park has been redesigned and modernised over the past three years and features an outdoor pool and a large children’s playground. The park is located on the IJssel River and has its own marina and sandy beach. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the grounds are very well maintained. There are great playgrounds for children. There is a small fitness area with modern exercise equipment and a wellness area with a public sauna. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee in the lobby.

Olburgen is located just a few kilometres from the German border, making it an excellent choice for a short getaway over a long weekend or a quick holiday. The chalet is located in the Europarcs Marina Strandbad, which sits directly on the IJssel River. The park also features a beautiful swimming beach on a side arm of the IJssel. Here, with or without your dog, you can relax and go for a swim. Anglers are also welcome.

Nearby are the beautiful, historic Hanseatic cities of Doesburg and Zutphen. Larger cities, such as Arnhem and Utrecht, are also not far away. For nature lovers, there’s more than enough natural beauty around Olburgen, including the Veluwezoom, the oldest national park in the Netherlands.

The Marina Strandbad holiday park is located directly on a quiet side arm of the IJssel River. The body of water is about 100 metres wide and has pleasantly clear water, where you can swim, fish, or water-ski to your heart’s content. The park’s own marina features full-service berths for all types of boats and can accommodate around 170 sailboats and motorboats. All berths are equipped with power and water connections in the immediate vicinity.
There are plenty of opportunities for relaxation here. Enjoy green landscapes stretching to the horizon and marvel at waterfowl, cows, and sheep. From the deck of your boat, you can relax in the sun and take in the surroundings. Become one with the magnificent nature of the Veluwe and discover the numerous castles and estates in the Achterhoek, as well as the winding dikes and rivers in the Rivierenland.
The car ferry from Olburgen to Dieren connects the two nature reserves, the Achterhoek and the Veluwe.
The romantic IJssel towns of Hasselt, Zwolle, Kampen, Deventer, Doesburg, and Zutphen are within easy reach. Nijmegen is the oldest city in the Netherlands due to its Roman origins. Here you’ll find impressive historic buildings, centuries-old squares, and the Netherlands’ oldest shopping street: the Lange Hezelstraat, where you can stock up on souvenirs, jewellery, clothing, and cheese. The city of Arnhem is known for its spectacular Burgers’ Zoo. But Arnhem is also a fashion hub and has its own “Fashion Quarter.” There are several fascinating museums to visit.
The province of Gelderland has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine, with a high concentration of gourmet restaurants. You can enjoy all the region’s delicacies and specialities, from game and mushrooms to apples and strawberries.
The nearby “Hoge Veluwe” National Park spans 5,400 hectares of diverse landscapes. On foot or via a 40-km network of bike paths, you’ll discover beautiful forests, heathlands, sand dunes, marshes, and lakes. The park is home to countless animals, including wild boars, red deer, roe deer, and mouflons. The park is also home to the Kröller-Müller Museum, which houses the world’s largest private collection of Van Gogh paintings. “Veluwezoom” is the oldest national park in the Netherlands. The rolling landscape of forests, heathland, and drifting sand has been a protected area since 1931. You can hike freely along the trails and paths, and there are plenty of opportunities for horseback riding and biking. The region is also a true golfer’s paradise.
