Lovingly furnished wooden house near Oberwesel. Ideal starting point for hikes and excursions to the Loreley, Middle Rhine, Hunsrück and Moselle.

The cozy and detached wooden house with terrace is located on a 900 square meter site on the outskirts of Damscheid. Pure nature and yet central. You can spend an undisturbed vacation here with unlimited sports and leisure opportunities. There are various shopping opportunities in Oberwesel (3km).

In addition, a small wooden hut of approx. seven square meters with a window, two single beds and electricity has been set up behind the house. Two more people (your children will love it) can spend the night here.

It is only five kilometers to the A61 and three kilometers to Oberwesel (UNESCO World Heritage Site Middle Rhine). Ideal starting point for hikes, boat trips, sightseeing,...

The Vogel family lives on the other side of the street and can be contacted at any time if you have any questions. After the keys have been handed over and you have been welcomed by the house owner or manager Mrs. Schmäl, you can spend your vacation in absolute peace and quiet (the house is located on a path that is only used by the few residents, without through traffic). There is a fire bowl and a kettle barbecue and you can end the day by the fire.

Pros: Wir waren 14 Tage Gäste im Vogelnest. Die Gastgeber, sowie auch die Leute im Ort, waren absolut freundlich und hilfsbereit.Der nächste wunderschöne Ort Oberwesel am Rhein ist nur 3km bergab entfernt. Für Leute mit Fahrrad oder gut zu Fuss ein Traum. Eine sehr verkehrsberuhigte Gegend ermöglicht auch einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit Kleinkindern. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen und hat sich wohl gefüllt. Wir können das Vogelnest mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen und werden sicherlich selbst nochmals landen.

Besonders die Nähe zu Wiesen und Wälder war ideal um Spaziergänge mit unserem 4-Beiner Nero (Minni-Sheltie) zu unternehmen. Auch die Info-Mappe mit Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugszielen in der näheren Umgebung, besonders die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Besitzers hat uns gefallen. Pros: Wer am Mittelrhein was sehr ruhiges, dennoch sehr zentrales sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und werden auch ganz sicher wieder kommen. Zumal dieses Wochenende das Deutschland weite Moped Rennen stattfand. Eine wunderschöne erholsame Umgebung rundet die kleine aber feine Unterkunft ab. Für Hundebesitzer perfekt. Kein Durchgangsverkehr, direkt am Dorfrand 100 m und man ist auf Wiesen und Wäldern. Also, machen und buchen. Es lohnt sich. Wer allerdings goldene Wasserhähne erwartet, sollte sich lieber ein schönes Hotelzimmer buchen... ;)

Pros: Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Vor allem die Ruhe ist nicht nur für Großstadtpflanzen einmalig. Wer in der Tagesklinik Oberwesel behandelt wird und eine Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben. 3 km Entfernung und 5 Minuten Fahrt sind ideal. Parkplätze stehen kostenfrei an der Klinik zur Verfügung. Wenn man dann nach den Behandlungen und 5 Minuten Fahrt wieder am Ferienhaus ankommt, geht die Erholung weiter. Also einfach gesagt:" Einfach Erholung pur." Dem nächsten Urlaub mit oder ohne Familie, oder als Patient in der Tagesklinik Oberwesel steht also nichts im Wege.
