We have a large family with adult children and grandchildren, and this home was the perfect retreat for everyone! Spectacular views, comfortable, and nostalgic design, and a familiarity like Grandma’s house! We will definitely stay again!DiedraK
These houses were perfect getaway for my our 2 families to visit. The waterfront is so convenient and the hot tub and billiards room was a favorite with our teenagers.
We loved the property and all amenities included. The area was perfect for our small family reunion and the kids loved having space to play games and hang out when it was hot out. We’d highly recommend this location for other groups and families. Communication with the host was perfect as well!
The location was great! We enjoyed looking out over the water. The hot tub was really nice and clean. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had lots of utensils and cookware. The rooms were comfortable.
Great ambiance! We loved hanging out in the many indoor and outdoor gathering options. Plenty of room for everyone. We truly wished we could have stayed longer. Comfy beds, wonderful views, and awesome home to enjoy with family and friends!
Great stay and everything was as advertised. We have stayed here with our family once in the past and everyone agrees that this a great space to keep coming back to. Looking forward to next year and hoping to book an extra night so there is more time to enjoy the great amenities. Thanks again for having us!
We loved our stay and Dave was very responsive and helpful when needed! Yes, it is a very old house, and there are some things that you can tell, but we still had a fantastic time and a great space to gather with family or friends!
This the third time we’ve stayed here. Since it’s a log cabin staying here is unique. Being right on the water creates a lot of opportunities for fun activities. Between the hot tub and cold sea water great chance to enjoy a polar plunge.
We had a great time and everything was as advertised and seamless! Looking forward to booking again here.

About the host
Hosted by Sam
My husband, Eric, and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while visiting his family who made the move to Washington. We live in an ocean community on the East Coast with our two dogs, and now want to share our West Coast home with everyone we can!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with all of the islands off the coast, but wanted a place that was easily accessible while also offering respite from city life.
What makes this property unique
Chico Bay Lodge solved a lot of the problems we encountered while looking for rental properties. We wanted a place to relax with our friends and families, larger groups, with access to water and views while also being close enough to a city or activities for our kids to enjoy. This answered all of those questions for us.
