Spacious holiday rental in a stunning location for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation
A dream in the countryside! Our newly renovated holiday rental from the 1970s is generously sized at 106 m² and offers a quiet and cosy holiday home for one to three people. It’s located on the outskirts of town, surrounded by beautiful nature, with a view of the Simmerbach stream, forests, and meadows where horses and cattle often graze.
The holiday rental spans two floors: The upper floor features two spacious bedrooms and a small bathroom. On the ground floor, you can use the fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking. The living and dining room is bright, welcoming, and offers plenty of space for socialising and sharing meals. The adjoining 23 m² balcony is particularly lovely; it is mostly covered and offers a magnificent view of the natural surroundings. Here, you can enjoy breakfast or wind down the day with a glass of wine. Sun worshippers will also be in their element, as the balcony’s south-facing orientation means the sun shines on it from morning to evening. A high-quality electric grill is available for your barbecuing pleasure.
The apartment is also ideal for working remotely, as it features very fast internet access. The living room features a large sofa made of fine mocha-brown leather, perfect for watching TV. During the cooler seasons, a pellet stove with a heat distribution system and a wood-burning stove with cooking and baking functions provide cosy warmth.
The bathroom, also located on the ground floor, is modernly equipped and features a shower, a toilet, and a sink.
During the renovation, the owners took care to balance modern comfort with preserving the house’s unique charm.
Here, you can feel at home and relax!
The apartment is situated on a slope and is accessible via an outdoor staircase. Unfortunately, this means it is not wheelchair accessible. A parking space for one car is located directly above the house at the bottom of the stairs.
Smoking and pets are not allowed.
Ravengiersburg, situated somewhat off the main roads on the northern edge of the Soonwald, is a very rural town known for its Hunsrück Cathedral. The surrounding area is ideal for nature lovers and those interested in sports. Here, you can go on long hikes or explore nature. Popular destinations accessible by car include the sights in the Hunsrück and along the Rhine, Moselle, and Nahe rivers.
There are numerous shopping options in the nearby towns of Gemünden (7 km), Kirchberg (10 km), and Simmern (10 km). As the county seat, Simmern (Hunsrück) features, among other things, a hospital, a cinema, a library, and a museum. For swimming, visitors can enjoy the outdoor pool in Gemünden, the new indoor pool set to open in 2024, the natural outdoor pool in Simmern, and the Waldsee lake near Argenthal.
