Studio 'Die Kajüte' with private terrace and own garden

Die Kajüte is located in Barlt and is ideal for an unforgettable holiday with your loved ones. The 40 m² accommodation is spread over two floors and features a living room as well as a kitchen. Upstairs, which you reach via a steep, narrow staircase, you will find the bedroom and the bathroom with toilet. Die Kajüte has its own small garden area and offers space for two people. Use of a washing machine is possible on request and for an extra fee. Breakfast can be booked on site for an additional charge. In the shared outdoor area, there are several seating options where you can relax in nice weather among free-roaming chickens and geese.

Our beautiful farm with its many animals is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Barlt, a small village off the B5, right between Marne and Meldorf in Dithmarschen on the Wadden Sea.

There are two vacation apartments and a triple room in the main house. At the pond we have a nice camping barrel with a separate bio-toilet and a private shower in the main house. Free Wi-Fi and the option of ordering breakfast also appeal to many cycle tourists. There are storage and charging facilities for e-bikes and bicycles.

On the farm we have horses, ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, mini pigs, free-range chickens and geese as well as dogs and cats. If you book breakfast, you will receive, for example, eggs from our free-range chickens, homemade jam and yoghurt.

Would you like to bring your horse or take a break as a trail rider (also with a carriage)? That is also possible - just give us a call.

The Wadden Sea is 14 km away. The seal station in Friedrichskoog and the locks of the Kiel Canal in Brunsbüttel can be reached in 20 minutes by car. There are outdoor swimming pools in St. Michaelisdonn (6 km), Meldorf (10 km) or in Brunsbüttel, where you can look out over the Elbe from the pool. Shopping facilities are available in Meldorf, Marne or St. Michaelisdonn. Also worth seeing are Büsum, Sankt Peter-Ording (45 min.) with its large sandy beach or the Multimar Wattforum in Tönning (35 min.).

There are also many cycle paths in the area as well as several museums in Meldorf or Heide (district capital). There are good restaurants in the area that we can recommend. If you would like to go to Hamburg, you can reach the city by car in about an hour or by train from St. Michaelisdonn. Kiel (90 min.), Flensburg (105 min.) or Padborg in Denmark (2 hours) are also possible day trips.

Nicht alles was glänzt ist Gold. Oberes Stockwerk Offene Galerie mit abschüssigem Linoleumbodenbelag; sehr gefährlich für Hunde und Kinder, da das wackelige Geländer nicht tief reicht. Matratze und Auflage sehr schmutzig.Eklig! Bad ohne Tür, eingelassene Wanne sehr dreckig. Im Bad.schrank unverlegter Linoleum. Mit meiner Stauballergie war ich schlecht bedient. Beim Blick in die Heizkörper wusste ich warum es mir so schlecht ging; die wurden wohl noch nie gereinigt. Auch der Blick ins Gebälk bestätigte die Staubmengen. Schade, es könnte wunderschön sein, ist es aber leider nicht. Bei einem Preis von 224 für zwei Tage, Aufpreis von 15 für den Hund zu teuer. Im Raum wird man sofort von Hinweisen begrüßt, dass Hunde (was ja selbstverständlich ist) nicht auf die Möbel dürfen und bei Haaren mindestens 25 pro ! Möbelstück berechnet werden, sollte es nicht eingehalten werden. Die vielen Ausrufezeichen bestätigten das. Um zur Kajüte zu kommen, geht man erst durch einen Stallbereich. Dieser ist absolut dunkel. Den Lichtschalter habe ich nicht gefunden. Nehmt eure Taschenlampe mit. Bei Regen empfehle ich Gummistiefel, da der Zugang schlammig sein kann.

Es war schön ruhig, hat einen urigen Charme und alle waren sehr nett.

Pros: Die kleine eingezäunte Terrasse. Das Frühstück und in der Nähe (Fußläufig erreichbar) gibt es den Gasthof Harmonie in dem man sehr lecker essen konnte. Die vielen Tiere auf dem Hof. Das ganze hat einen ganz eigenen Charme. Es war sauber und gepflegt. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Cons: Leider habe ich die schmale, sehr steile Treppe falsch eingeschätzt, die zum Schlafzimmer und Bad geht. Das ist nichts für Menschen die Bewegungseingeschränkt sind.

Unterkunft mit unschlagbarem Charme

Pros: Ein absoluter Traum für alle, die Natur, Tiere und Ruhe lieben! Die Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich, top ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Hof ist idyllisch gelegen und voller herzlicher tierischer Bewohner: Pferde, Esel, Schweine, Hühner, Katzen und Hunde – alle freundlich und bestens versorgt. Besonders für Kinder ein echtes Paradies, aber auch wir Erwachsene konnten wunderbar abschalten. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich nett, hilfsbereit und haben uns und unseren Hund herzlich empfangen. Die Umgebung lädt zu Spaziergängen, Radtouren und Ausflügen ein und abends kann man den Tag entspannt beim Sonnenuntergang auf dem Hof ausklingen lassen. Das Meer auch in kürze erreichbar! Ein Ort zum Runterkommen und Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen garantiert wieder!

Pros: die Kajüte ist urig, gemütlich und mediteran eingerichtet - alles da was man braucht! Die vielen Tiere am Hof machen es einzigartig (Hühner, Gänse, Pferde, Esel)
