Country home in Provence

We absolutely loved this experience while in the Arles area of Provence! The pool, ponies, spacious grounds, outdoor area for having meals, extra spaces for the group to sleep, relax and well equipped kitchen for preparing meals was perfect. The farmhouse is close to village and historic sites.

Family vacation

Dany and her family are great hosts! They were always very responsive and helpful, explained how to get around the area and had many tips for us. When our car broke down Dany just lend us their car to get around until we found a new rental - this was amazing and basically saved us our vacation!! We spend relaxing days in the house and in southern France and enjoyed the garden and the pool very much! Thank you for hosting us!

Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in diesem alten, sehr charmanten Haus verbracht. Die Besitzer wohnen nebenan und sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als wir ein Problem mit dem Auto hatten, haben sie mehrere Telefonate für uns geführt.Die Schlafzimmer sind (über eine schmale Treppe zu erreichen) alle im ersten Stock, zwei davon haben Zugang zu einem kleinen Balkon. Es gibt 4 Doppelbetten, eins in einem kleineren Zimmer, 2 in einem großen und eins in einer regelrechten Bibliothek mit Schreibtisch. Wer Bücher mag, wird das Haus lieben.Der Pool war wirklich warm und groß genug zum Schwimmen. Im Außenbereich gibt es sehr viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und 2 Möglichkeiten zum Grillen. Bouleplatz, Fahrräder und Tischtennisplatte haben wir nicht genutzt, sind auch vorhanden. Der Stellplatz für das Auto war groß genug für unseren Bulli und mehrere Fahrräder.Im 600 Meter entfernten kleinen Supermarkt gibt es frisches Baguette und auch sonst alles, was man braucht. In der nahen Umgebung kann man super wandern und radfahren. Gut zu erreichen sind Arles, Les Baux, Nimes, Maussane, Beaucaire, Tarascon, St. Maries de la mer, Salon de Provence usw.

Idyllischer Platz

Die Doppelhaushälfte wirkt wie ein altes Museum , riecht auch modrig, ist aber sauber und gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet was man eventuell brauchen könnte. Die Vermieter sind diskrekt, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Am besten haben uns der üppige Garten mit Pool und Blick auf die Pferdewiese gefallen. Die selbstgemachte Feigenmarmelade ist sehr lecker.

Magnifique automne en Provence en famille

Nous avons passé 10 jours merveilleux avec nos trois filles de 12 et 8 ans et 6 mois à la fin de l'automne 2023 chez Dany et Claude. Tous deux nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement et ont rendu notre séjour très agréable grâce à leurs précieux conseils et à leur serviabilité. Nos deux grandes filles ont beaucoup apprécié la piscine couverte grâce aux températures douces. L'emplacement est idéal pour des excursions occasionnelles en Camargue et dans les Alpilles. Dany a préparé une très belle sélection de tous les sites à visiter, chapeau ! La maison a conservé son charme original de ferme provençale tout en étant très bien équipée de manière fonctionnelle. En automne, nous avons partagé aussi bien des repas sur la terrasse ensoleillée que de belles soirées au coin du feu. Dans la cuisine, on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin, malheureusement il manque de la place pour faire de la très grande cuisine, mais pour les vacances, c'est tout à fait suffisant. Les lits sont plutôt durs mais très très confortables. Nous avons bien dormi, car la nuit, c'est très calme. Le matin et pendant la journée, on entend bien sûr un peu le trafic sur la route de campagne. Les familles avec enfants doivent se rendre compte qu'il y a un escalier très raide pour accéder aux chambres. Pour les enfants à partir de l'âge scolaire, cela ne pose pas de problème. Nous gardons un souvenir particulier de l'atmosphère ouverte et sympathique de la maison et des hôtes. Merci beaucoup pour ces belles vacances

Wundervoller Urlaub in der Camargue

Wir als Familie (2 Kinder, 10 Jahre und 6 Jahre alt) haben den Aufenthalt in Mas Ballot sehr genossen. Die Kinder waren täglich im Pool planschen und durften bei der Fütterung der Pferde und der Hühner (und des Hahns) helfen. Da eine der Töchter der Vermieter eine Reitschule mit Shetland-Pony´s betreibt (circa in 3-4 KM Entfernung) konnten die Kinder auch ein paar Reitstunden buchen. Man fühlt sich bei Dany und Claude zu jedem Zeitpunkt herzlich willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Vielen Dank dafür nochmals an euch......

Un mas aux mille senteurs.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un petit paradis tenu par un couple accueillant, attentionné et discret. Un séjour inoubliable, entre arbres fruitiers, potager et piscine. Alors qu’a l’exterieur il a fait très chaud, la maison reste très fraîche. Tout est organisé pour s’y sentir à l’aise. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Ruhiges Örtchen in schöner Umgebung

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in diesem idyllischen und ruhigen Mas verlebt. Wir Eltern und unsere Kinder haben das Schwimmbad und den vielen Platz sehr genossen. Ein großes Highlight waren die Ponys und ihre zum Teil frisch geborenen Fohlen. Die Vermieter waren immer hilfsbereit und haben sich viel Zeit genommen, damit unsere Kinder die Ponys besuchen und diese streicheln konnten. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Très bon séjour dans un mas authentique

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires et voisins de la maison, très discrets et avenants. La location correspond à la description et était très largement à la hauteur de nos attentes. Barbecue, pétanque, vélos à disposition, accès illimité à la piscine couverte, vue sur les poneys dans les prés, nous recommandons cette location adaptée aux familles.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt!

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Kindern (2 und 4 Jahre alt) für 10 Tag bei Dany und Claude und wir hatten es wunderbar - sie sind sehr offen, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich und wir würden jeder Zeit wieder zurückkommen! Die Kinder konnten mit dem Spielzeug-Traktor umherflitzen, im Pool baden und die Ponys streicheln. Und die selbstgemachte Feigenmarmelade war sehr fein! Mas Ballot - sehr empfehlenswert!!!

Sejour en famille au mas ballot

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille au mas ballot dans un environnement bucolique, proche des Alpilles. C est la première fois que nous louions un gite et craignions un peu la promiscuité avec les propriétaires. Or, les propriétaires se sont montrés accueillants, souriants et surtout discrets, ce qui nous a permis de nous sentir en famille , comme chez nous. Le logement est bien équipé ( lave vaisselle, lave linge, sèche linge ...) et bien assez spacieux pour 7 personnes. L'hébergement au décor un brin désuet (meubles anciens) participe au dépaysement et au sentiment de quiétude du lieu. La piscine couverte et chauffée fait le bonheur des petits et des grands. L'élevage de poneys qui jouxte la propriété apporte un plaisir supplémentaire pour les amoureux des animaux et de la nature comme nous. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Mas provençal bien adapté pour un séjour en famille - propre, spacieux et bien équipé - très bonne literie - terrasse ombragée pour les déjeuners et diners - piscine très appréciée par tous - un plus pour les enfants : l'élevage de poneys dans les prés adjacents. Landhaus mit großer Terrasse, Garten und Pool

Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen in diesem ruhigen Landhaus. Das Vermieterehepaar Dany und Claude sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit (sie haben mir aufgrund einer "Notlage" sogar ihr Privatauto ausgeliehen). Die Terrasse und der Garten sind sehr groß, es gibt eine Boulebahn, Tischtennisplatte und einen Grillkamin. Vor allem aber war für uns der Pool das Highlight. Das Wasser war angenehm warm, sodass wir oft gleich morgens erstmal schwimmen gegangen sind. Man kann sehr schön draußen Essen und Frühstücken. Innen ist das Haus einfach, aber vollständig eingerichtet.

Maison très agréable, au calme, avec un bel extérieur. Très fonctionnelle pour nous (4 adultes et 3 enfants en bas âge). La maison est bien équipée, avec tous les appareils ménagers nécessaires, des livres, des jeux pour les enfants, des vélos (avec siège enfant!), des guides et conseils pour visiter la région,... La piscine est très agréable et les poneys sont justes à côté! Les propriétaires Claude et Dany sont adorables, prêt à rendre service et proposent plein de bons conseils. Nous n'hésiterons pas à y retourner!

Ein Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen

Von Mitte März bis April 2018 haben wir vier Wochen in diesem gemütlichen provencalischen Landhaus verbracht. Die Einrichtung des Hauses mit schönem alten Mobiliar ist ausgesprochen behaglich, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles was man im Haushalt braucht, ist reichlich vorhanden. Dank der guten Heizung blieb der Wohnbereich trotz des ungewöhnlich kühlen Frühjahrs selbst bei heftigen Mistral-Böen wohlig warm. Die freundlichen Vermieter Dany und Claude zeigten sich bei Bedarf stets hilfsbereit. Die nachbarschaftliche Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und entspannt. Das Haus in hübscher, ruhiger Lage mit weitem grünen Grundstück hat sich als idealer Ausgangspunkt erwiesen um die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence und die Camargue zu besuchen. Absolute Empfehlung für alle, die etwas abseits vom großen Touristenstrom in Ruhe Land und Leute kennenlernen wollen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Supermärkten finden sich in etwa 8 km Entfernung. Der Kontakt zur Außenwelt ist durch einen schnellen Internetanschluss mit WLAN vorhanden. Auch die wichtigsten deutschen Fernseh-Sender werden empfangen. Alles in allem: ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen!

Perfect place for relaxing holidays

Mas Ballot situated 8 kilometers east of Arles provides a perfect accommodation for our family of 6. Fitted with antique furniture in local provincial style it provides plenty of room even for bigger parties and makes you feel at home immediately. Dany and Claude Suc as nice and helpful hosts supplied information about places to go not only on their well structured website and assorted leaflets available in the dining room, but also in their very warm welcome and personal conversations. In the kitchen you find everything to prepare nice meals and the dishwasher helps to make them even more enjoyable. The living room invites for relaxing autumn evenings with a fire crackling and the good internet connection enables you to send your holiday impressions directy to your loved ones at home. A perfect place for relaxing holidays and being back in Germany we already think about coming back...

quel beau séjour ! le gite est parfait, grand, spacieux, chaleureux. nous avons passés un noel en famille avec feu de cheminée, tournoi de ping pong et de badminton, balade en vélo.... Claude et Dany sont aux petits soins pour leurs locataires. on est chez eux comme chez nous, c'est extremement reposant. la présence des poneys ajoute une petite touche rustique très agréable. je garde dans l'idée d'y retourner pour tester le gite à une autre saison, lorsque la piscine est ouverte par exemple...
