Penthouse apartment for up to 8 people The high-end Kaiser Wilhelm holiday rental was completed in November 2022. It spans the ground floor and the top floor of the guesthouse. The living area offers 142 square metres of space. The apartment features a 15-square-meter south-facing balcony as well as a fully fenced, 50-square-meter outdoor terrace. Outdoor furniture, lounge chairs and chairs with cushions, a parasol, and a charcoal grill are provided for the outdoor area.
Turn-of-the-century charm meets modernity You enter the apartment through a hallway featuring an antique mosaic floor dating back to the turn of the century.
It is bright, features high ceilings accented with stucco, and is very stylishly furnished.
Underfloor heating for the cold season and concrete-core cooling in the summer ensure guests enjoy absolute comfort year-round, powered by solar energy and geothermal heat for heating and air conditioning—sustainable and emission-free.
Four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The apartment has four bedrooms, each with a double bed. A cot can be added to any bedroom if needed. One bedroom is located on the ground floor; the other three bedrooms, each equipped with a TV, are accessed via a loft staircase leading to the attic.
The largest bathroom is located on the ground floor; it is equipped with a large walk-in shower, a large bathtub, a sink, and a modern toilet. On the same floor is a second shower room with a shower, sink, and toilet.
On this floor, there is another shower room equipped with a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. There is also a guest bathroom with a sink and a toilet on this floor.
Living, Dining, and Kitchen Areas The very large living room is furnished with two sofas, armchairs, and an ottoman. The dining area features a large table that seats 8.
The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic cooktop, range hood, oven, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster.
Miscellaneous There is also an utility room in the attic, equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, and a sink. .
A vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, dog blanket, and dog bowl are, of course, included in the apartment.
A charging station powered by the solar panel system is available for electric vehicles.
Bicycles and e-bikes can be securely stored and charged in a separate room.
A dog shower with hot water and drying towels is also available.

The Saarschleifenland is particularly well-known for the Saarschleife, an impressive bend in the Saar River near Mettlach. The landscape in this region is characterised by forests, hills, apple orchards, and vineyards. Hiking trails with spectacular viewpoints, bike paths along the Saar, and boating and canoeing on the Saar are drawing ever-increasing numbers of nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to the region. It is also a popular destination for wellness and health tourism. There are several spa towns and thermal baths where you can pamper yourself and relax.​
Our dog-friendly holiday rental warmly welcomes both two-legged and four-legged guests! Not only will you enjoy a relaxing holiday here—your dog will have a great time, too. On the property, there’s an agility course for play, exercise, and training. After an active day, you can comfortably wash your four-legged friend in our dog shower with warm water and towels provided.
In every apartment, we also provide a dog blanket as well as food and water bowls so your dog feels right at home from the start.

​Relax in the Wellness Barn Our holiday home is complemented by a 750 m² spa resort. It has everything to make your stay unforgettable and unique. Our wellness barn features a saltwater pool measuring 8 m x 3.75 m with a depth of 1.55 m, which is heated year-round to 28 degrees.
There is also a large sauna for up to 10 people, a shower with a waterfall feature and a Kneipp shower, as well as a lovely relaxation room for cold days.
Hot tub for up to 8 people Outside the wellness barn is a covered, south-facing hot tub with air and massage jets for up to 8 people, surrounded by a large garden lounge area for resting and relaxing.



On-site fees: A 20% deposit is charged upon booking. The remaining balance is due via bank transfer no later than 2 weeks before arrival. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to midnight. Check-out is required by 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over contactlessly via a key box. Pets are allowed for a fee of 30€ per stay.



Check-in is from 3:00 to 00:00, and check-out is possible from 11:00 to 11:00.
