The holiday rental is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of town with a view of the Wasserkuppe. It’s only about 800 metres to the centre of Poppenhausen—about a 10-minute walk. The holiday rental is on the ground floor of a single-family home. A free parking space is available in the courtyard. Around the house, there are several opportunities to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, with seating areas and patio furniture inviting you to relax. Very close by is the starting point for the “Liebesweg” (Path of Love), which features many stops and great viewpoints, inviting you to take a stroll and linger. You can also set out on beautiful hikes directly from the apartment to the Wasserkuppe or to many other destinations and natural landmarks. A trip to the Baroque city of Fulda is also possible via public transport from Poppenhausen. The location of the holiday rental is thus an ideal starting point for exciting excursions into the Rhön Biosphere Reserve.

The bright holiday apartment, with a floor area of approximately 68 square metres, is located on the ground floor of a single-family home and is particularly suitable for adults seeking peace and quiet or couples with a toddler (A cot can be provided free of charge). The spacious living-dining area, featuring a corner sofa and a recliner, invites you to relax and unwind. Satellite TV, a stereo system, free Wi-Fi, and a selection of games and books ensure there’s never a dull moment. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove with oven, refrigerator, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine. The shower and toilet are on the same level, and the double bedroom, featuring a double bed with high-quality mattresses, ensures a restful night’s sleep. A second bedroom with a double bed can be booked on the upper floor upon request. Secure storage for e-bikes and charging stations are available in the ground-level, accessible basement. Smoking is not permitted in the holiday rental, and pets are not allowed.



On-site costs: Payment is due on site in cash, by bank transfer, or by debit/credit card. A deposit of 20% of the total price may be charged at any time after booking. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Check-out is until 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Keys are handed over in person on-site or via a key safe. Pets are not allowed. A cot or rollaway bed can be provided upon request (free of charge). A second bedroom with a double bed can be booked upon request. The visitor’s tax of €1.00 per person (ages 18 and up) per night will be charged additionally on-site. Included in the base price (towels, bed linens, Wi-Fi, parking, etc.)
