Our cosy, well-furnished holiday rental, with 42 m² of living space, is located on the ground floor and sleeps 2 people. The fully equipped kitchenette, featuring a refrigerator, stove, oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and a basic set of dishes, glasses, and silverware, has everything you could need. The living area features a dining table, a couch, and a TV with satellite reception, as well as access to the balcony, which offers a magnificent view of the town centre. The holiday rental features a bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom includes a shower and a toilet. Bedding, towels, free Wi-Fi, parking, and final cleaning are included in the price. Please note that pets are allowed only by prior arrangement. The Gästehaus am Schlossberg is located in the centre of the nature-oriented village of Friedenfels and in the heart of the Steinwald in the northern Upper Palatinate—the ideal starting point for hikes and a retreat for relaxation. The nearby Steinwald invites you to hike, bike, and climb. The surrounding area is home to many hidden gems waiting to be discovered, such as castle ruins, a “stairway to heaven,” and fish ponds at the local fish farm. Within walking distance, you’ll find the village store, a butcher shop, a large playground, and several restaurants. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in a peaceful setting. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange the details, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. Bed linens, towels, free Wi-Fi, parking, and final cleaning are included in the price. A cot or rollaway bed can be provided upon request for 10 EUR per night. Pets are allowed upon request for a fee of 20 EUR per day. The visitor’s tax of 0.75 EUR per person per night for guests aged 16 and older will be charged separately on-site. Payment is due on-site in cash.
