The holiday rental was newly renovated and furnished in 2024 and is located on a quiet side street. With its new, fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable box-spring bed, a cosy living-dining room, a second retreat with a sleeper sofa, and a large sunny balcony, it offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway.
A fully automatic coffee machine is included, as are free Wi-Fi, Netflix access, and a smart TV. Bicycles can be stored safely and dry, and e-bikes can be charged. For a small fee, you can rent two like-new bicycles and/or an e-bike.
We’re happy to pick up train travellers from the station, and you can also send your luggage ahead of time.
The historic old town, with its gabled houses and canals, is just a few minutes’ walk away. In addition to numerous cafés and restaurants, unique shops, and galleries, Friedrichstadt offers various events worth experiencing, such as the Rose Days, the “Picnic in Pink,” the Friedrichstadt Festival, and the Canal Christmas. Numerous beautiful bike paths, the free Treene outdoor pool, and SUP and boat tours on the canals provide opportunities for physical activity. Husum, the city of Theodor Storm, and the Husum Trade Fair are 14 km away. St. Peter-Ording, Büsum, the Eider River Barrage, the seal breeding station, and the Multimar Wattforum are also within a 30–45-minute drive. There is a direct train connection to Sylt. In 45–60 minutes by car, you can reach the Baltic Sea in Eckernförde, as well as Flensburg or Kiel, Schleswig on the Schlei, or Tøndern in Denmark.
