It was an experience to stay in the woods , much colder than expected but all the chlldren and grandchildren enjoyed the stay. For our large group there was just enough room. Walking from the house was difficult, it was too steep so we had to go by car. A downstairs toilet would-be have been easy.

Für uns ein Volltreffer!

Das Haus im Wald bei Lutzerarth bietet - neben netten Gastgebern - alles, was für einen erholsamen Urlaub nötig ist. Es ist wirklich alles da, was man evtl. benötigen könnte - das haben wir (nach etlichen Jahren gemeinsamen Urlaubs) so noch nie vorgefunden! Die Kids hatten bei den insgesamt 4 Schlafräumen freie Zimmerwahl, meine Tochter hat sich sehr liebevoll häuslich eingerichtet und wollte gar nicht mehr weg. Auch der Hund unserer Freunde fühlte sich sehr wohl. Grund hierfür war vermutlich auch die Lage - für andere vielleicht ein Minus, für uns ein klares Plus: ja, man muss ein ganzes Stück auf steinigem, unebenem Waldboden zurücklegen, was auch nicht mit jedem Auto möglich ist, aber das weiß man vorher. Dafür bekommt man im Gegenzug ein Urlaubsdomizil am Bach und im Wald, das es auch erlaubt, das Auto (durchaus auch mehrfach) mal stehen zu lassen und direkt loszuwandern. Einziger Mini-Mini-Minuspunkt für uns als "Gewohnheitswasserhahntrinker": das geht hier nicht, da das Wasser zuvor abgekocht werden müsste. Aber auch darauf kann man sich einstellen. Fazit: wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn es uns wieder in die Eifel zieht.
