Hieve Holiday Home: Peace and Relaxation by the Canal

The Hieve Holiday Home offers you the perfect opportunity to discover East Frisia in a special way. Located right on the Hieve, you can enjoy the peace and quiet here and spend relaxing days in a unique setting.

With direct access to the canal and its own dock, a canoe is available for your use. This gives you the chance to paddle comfortably to Emden or the Great Sea and experience the beauty of the East Frisian waterways up close.

The holiday home is designed to accommodate up to 3 people. Please note that the third person will sleep on a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. This accommodation perfectly combines cosiness, nature, and relaxation, and is the ideal starting point for exploring the region.



Note: Starting April 1, 2026, the municipality of Südbrookmerland will charge a 3% lodging tax on the total price. This amount is to be paid directly to the landlord.

The Hieve Holiday Home offers you a comfortable and well-equipped holiday home right on the canal. With the house’s own canoe, you can explore the surrounding canals in Südbrookmerland and Emden and enjoy the charming East Frisian waterways.

On the ground floor of the house, you’ll find a spacious living room with a cosy dining area. The adjacent kitchen is accessible through a separate doorway. There is also a convenient guest bathroom on the ground floor.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a desk by the window, offering a pleasant place to work. To the right of the hallway is the bedroom, featuring a comfortable double bed and baby amenities such as a cot. On the other side, you’ll find the bathroom with a toilet and a spacious shower.

Air conditioning ensures the perfect indoor climate in the summer, and a cosy pellet stove keeps you warm in the winter. The Hieve holiday home thus offers everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay—an ideal retreat for your holiday in East Frisia.

Thanks to its location right on the canal, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the canals around Südbrookmerland and Emden with the house’s own
canoe.
The ground floor features a spacious living room with a dining area and a
separate passageway to the kitchen. A guest bathroom is also located on the ground floor.
On the ground floor, you can work at the desk by the window.
To the right and left are, on one side, the bedroom with a double bed and
baby gear such as a cot, and on the other side, the bathroom with a toilet
and a spacious shower.
Air conditioning is available in the summer, and a pellet stove is available in the winter.



Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00, and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
