This cosy holiday home in an idyllic setting can accommodate up to 5 people and is ideal for anyone looking for peace and quiet, relaxation, or an active holiday. The house features two comfortable double beds and one single bed, so both families and groups of friends can enjoy a relaxing getaway. The open living area with a fireplace is perfect for cosy evenings, while the adjacent dining area and fully equipped kitchen provide everything you need for shared meals. A TV in the living room offers entertainment in case the weather isn’t cooperating. A special highlight is the on-site sauna, which offers soothing relaxation after an active day in nature. On the spacious terrace, you can enjoy the fresh air and let your gaze wander over the green landscape. The area surrounding the Extertal Holiday Park is a paradise for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts: Right on your doorstep, hiking and biking trails invite you to explore the beautiful landscape of the Weserbergland. Whether you’re planning a relaxing wellness holiday or want to actively experience nature—the Waldwärme holiday home is the perfect place for it!

If you’d like to discover cultural and urban highlights, you can take exciting day trips to the surrounding towns:
Rinteln (approx. 15 km): Historic old town with half-timbered houses, the Weser promenade, and the market square.
Hameln (approx. 30 km): The famous “Pied Piper” town with medieval charm and great shopping.
Detmold (approx. 35 km): Home to the Hermann Monument and the Detmold Open-Air Museum, ideal for a day trip.
Bückeburg (approx. 35 km): The impressive Bückeburg Castle, home to one of Europe’s last princely schools of courtly horsemanship.

Pricing information:
Additional costs apply, to be paid in cash on site: Electricity, final cleaning, pets (per pet), and linens (per person).

Electricity costs (0.50 EUR/kWh) will be deducted from a 150 EUR deposit. This deposit must be paid in cash when the keys are handed over.

Final cleaning (60 EUR) and linens (8 EUR per person) will be billed by an external service provider upon departure. You are welcome to bring your own linens.

You are welcome to bring up to 2 pets. There is a one-time fee of 25 EUR per pet. This is payable in cash.

Please let us know when you book whether you need bed linens or will bring your own.
