Family getaway to the Bavarian Forest!
We have family in Germany and the USA. We had time to take a little longer trip than usual, and wanted a place where the younger kids would have room to play indoors and outdoors. This property was perfect!The host and his family live nearby, which was very helpful since the property itself is located outside of town. They were able to quickly assist with any issues we had, although there weren't many. This home has four bedrooms and two full baths, a large open-plan living area with kitchen, dining, and living rooms. This is where we spent most of our time when preparing meals, sharing plans for the day, or watching something on TV. There is also an outstanding outdoor living space with dining and cooking amenities. We grilled out there one evening for the whole family, and it was terrific! The outdoor space is overlooked by the balcony from the dining/living area inside. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the neighborhood loop, which is beautiful, and taking hikes in the forest.The kitchen was the best-equipped that I've experienced in a vacation rental, nothing to compare. Everything we wanted was there, along with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.Great baths, plenty of hot water, and the best towels I've used in a while. I now want to change the ones I've at home. Everything is well-provisioned.I plan to stay here again next time we're in the area!
