The "Am Schlosspark" holiday rental in Schlitz is located on the top floor of a two-family home (built in 1994, equipped with solar panels and a heat pump since 2025) near Schlitz Castle Park, in a quiet yet conveniently located area. It is just 400 metres to the 18th-century castle there, home to the State Academy of Music, and only 200 metres to its guesthouse.
The heated outdoor pool in the Schlitz Valley—popular even beyond Schlitz’s borders and thoroughly renovated in 2024—is just 350 m away, and the Vulkan Cycle Path is only 200 m away. And it’s just a leisurely 800-meter walk to the romantic Schlitz market square in the town centre, with its countless half-timbered houses, four castles, and the Hinterturm, which shines as the world’s largest candle during the Advent and Christmas season.
Several bakeries and even four supermarkets—located 800 m and 1,200 m away, respectively—are available to satisfy your culinary needs.
The 73 m² apartment is furnished with a mix of pieces from various eras, ranging from the 18th century to the present day, naturally offering a standard of living you’ve come to expect today.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a wardrobe with a full-length mirror, along with some essential and useful small pieces of furniture. Here you’re sure to enjoy a restful night’s sleep and wake up to a view of the countryside (in summer) or the Schlitz Valley (in winter).
From the bright, spacious living room, you can step out onto the southwest- to west-facing balcony with an awning. This room features a sleeper sofa (1.40 x 2.00 m), suitable for 2 adults or children, making it essentially a living room/bedroom.
The kitchen is, of course, equipped with all the essential appliances, plus a lovely dining area that also offers a view of the countryside or the Schlitz Valley.
The bathroom features both a shower and a bathtub, so you can choose whichever you prefer.
You’ll find a parking space for your car right next to the house. The nearest EV charging station (22 kW) is located on Damenweg next to the outdoor pool, about 350 m away. If you’d like, you’re welcome to store your bicycle or e-bike in the locked basement.
