Kalsdorf Castle is owned by an art collector and is an architecturally unique property. It is conveniently located along the route between Graz and Vienna, amidst the volcanic springs and spas of Styria.
The Accommodation
With its blend of historical and contemporary elements, the 500-year-old Kalsdorf Castle is a wonderful place for lovers of art, architecture, design, and history. Here, you’ll stay in the former knights’ hall—a unique vaulted room that includes: a spacious entryway with a kitchenette, a large living room with a wood-burning stove and a dining table for eight, a bedroom with a view of the surrounding countryside, and a fully equipped bathroom with a freestanding bathtub.

Perfect for a couple (with up to 2 children), as there is no separate second bedroom.

Guest Access
You’ll have access to the apartment as well as the green spaces surrounding the castle, which are bordered by a forest.

Please stay within these areas, as other parts of the property are private and may not be safe to explore on your own (especially for children and pets).

Please note that this property is a historic estate, and parts of it are not accessible to children and pets without supervision.

We apologise that, due to the historic nature of this property, we are unable to offer wheelchair-accessible entry.

For electric vehicle drivers, we provide a charging cable free of charge (22 kW AC).

Delicious breakfast and picnic baskets from the village store can be pre-ordered for an additional fee.

Local regulations require that you fill out a form. The overnight stay tax of 2.5 euros per night is included in the price.

Please note that the kitchen is well-equipped (blender, Nespresso machine, milk frother, fridge-freezer, etc.), but does not have an oven.
