Guesthouse "Old Country House" in a Quiet Location

Please, no contractors or tradespeople – our guesthouse is a family-friendly accommodation for holiday guests!



We would be delighted to welcome you to our lovingly maintained farmhouse, over 130 years old. The spacious apartment for 4–5 guests is located in the newly renovated attic in the peaceful village of Behrendorf near Viöl, home to about 600 residents. Shops are just a five-minute drive away, and the harbor town of Husum can be reached in around 15 minutes.



The attic features a bright studio apartment with a kitchen (renovated in 2023, approx. 40 m²) for 2–3 people, an additional single room for 1–2 people, and a bathroom with shower. The studio has a double bed (1.80 m) and a sofa bed (1.20 m). TV, stereo, and Wi-Fi are included. A travel cot can be set up easily (please bring your own). The single room has a 1.40 m wide bed. There is also a guest WC on the ground floor. The apartment has its own entrance; part of the front garden with seating and a barbecue is available for your use.



Behrendorf is surrounded by farmland. Horse, cow, and sheep pastures invite you to take walks right outside the door. The location is ideal for excursions: swimming in the North Sea, shopping in Husum or Flensburg, visiting the Viking village Haithabu or the Multimar Wattforum, boat or carriage rides to the Halligen and seal banks, mudflat hikes, or birdwatching.



Pets are generally not allowed, but on request, a small, quiet dog may be brought along.



Guided bike tours are available on request (E-bikes recommended, please bring your own bikes). Prices on request. We are happy to provide a non-electric bike for short trips!
