Beach Club...'The Premier Resort'

The Beach Club is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula in beautiful Gulf Shores, Alabama. This is truly a unique vacation destination. The Beach Club offers everything you need or want for a perfect vacation getaway. Come and experience this great resort!

We are located in the Doral Tower on the 12th floor with amazing views. Our unit is a non smoking, one bedroom, one and one half bath that sleeps six. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a 32 inch flat screen television. The full bath is located off of the master bedroom. There is a half bath located in the hallway. The bunk area is located in the hallway as well. The kitchen is fully equipped: GE appliances, ice maker, microwave and pantry. You will experience all the conveniences of home. It is open to the living area and views the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. A table with four chairs and two bar stools at the bar make it easy to dine in. The washer/dryer is located in the hallway. The living area has a queen size sofa sleeper. There is a 42 inch flat screen television. The balcony overlooks the beautiful white sandy beaches, spectacular Gulf of Mexico, swimming pool and hot tub. The balcony is great for relaxing and listening to the surf. There is a chaise lounger with two chairs.

The resort has a 25,000-square foot clubhouse. If you would like to use the club facilities, our membership will transfer to you for a fee payable to the club. The clubhouse offers a large outdoor pool, baby pool, hot tub, sun terraces, heated indoor pool, steam and sauna facilities, fitness center, game room and breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The Racquet Club offers eight lighted clay tennis courts.
The cost for the club is per unit payable to the clubhouse.

Dirty dishes in the cupboards causing us to wash everything before using, dirty floors, electrical outlets didn’t work, furniture worn out and extremely dirty, barstools fabric was torn, blinds on sliding glass were broken with 2 slats laying on the floor. The whole place felt tired and worn out and dirty. Sheets and towels paper thin. Blankets too small for the bed. Place had terrible smell.

This was our 3rd time at The Beach Club but our 1st time in this rental unit. Overall, the rental unit was fine. It is a basic and a little run down, but there were also no issues with it. Things like only 1 garbage bag provided, a small roll of TP, one wash cloth and 1 dish towel for the kitchen, 4 outdoor chairs on the balcony but not even a small side table to set a drink on, one extra blanket for 3 beds, etc. But, everything did work fine and it was a lot less money than the 2 bedrooms we normally rent. Overall, I think if you are looking to save some money and just remember to purchase those extras with your groceries, it does work out.

The property was in magnificent shape and right on the beach. The pool area was area was wonderful. The owner was very easy to contact and responded in a very timely manner. The only thing I would recommend would be placing an ironing board and iron in the unit and a small table on the patio. We will definitely consider staying there again.
