Beautiful Villa with Private Salt Water Swimming Pool

CHIANG MAI PARADISE

Our beautiful vacation villa with private salt water swimming pool is situated in a gated community with lush green tropical surroundings located just outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our villa is approximately 20 to 30 minutes from the city center of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our gated community is called Home In Park.
There is a maximum of 6 guests that are allowed to stay at overnight at our house. There are to be no parties or events of any kind-only quiet get togethers. 10 guests maximum are allowed during the day only from 8 AM until 8 PM Thank you!

The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, Downstairs we have a living room with a 40 inch TV with both Premium and some English speaking channels,, a dining room, a bathroom with a shower and a bedroom. The downstairs bedroom has 2 single beds, a closet with drawers and a night stand with a lamp. There is also a sun room downstairs which is located through the glass door inside the house between the living room and dining room. The sunroom has seating for 6, a coffee table, a towel rack and a small stereo. The sunroom is your entrance out to our swimming pool.
Our full Western kitchen is also located downstairs. The kitchen was remodeled in early 2020 with a new induction cook top, a new oven, a microwave and a side by side refrigerator/freezer. We also have a rice cooker, a blender and a mixer. The kitchen is very well stocked with pot and pans and cooking utensils. We will supply you with a bottle of cooking oil, salt and pepper.

Upstairs, we have the master bedroom which has a connecting bathroom with a shower. The master bedroom has a closet with drawers, 2 night stands with lamps, and 2 chairs and a bookcase. There is also a 40 inch TV in the master bedroom. At the top of the stairs is another bathroom with a shower. To the right of the stairs is the office area. It comes with free use of a color/black and white Canon printer with extra ink and paper. Inside the office area is a day bed, a closet, and a desk with 2 office chairs plus a night stand with a lamp. We provide you with free high speed Internet.

Electricity is included in the rental price. We have just purchased all new air conditioners for our entire house in mid March 2020 which includes the living room/dining room area, kitchen, and all three bedrooms, plus the office area. Please close all doors-both upstairs and downstairs and especially the bathroom doors when using the air conditioners. This will help keep the electrical costs down so we can continue to keep our rental rates down. Also all air conditioning must be turned off each time that you leave the house. We loved it!

Our stay at this lovely home was everything we wanted or needed. The rooms were nicely furnished, and my husband, two grown daughters and son-in-law had plenty of room to relax in between our trips into the city. Wat was very patient and helpful, and was able to recommend some very good restaurants off the beaten path. We found that this house was a good combination of a quiet haven but with easy and convenient access to the city's attractions, with the help of our driver.

Excellent Service

We enjoyed our stay this lovely little home in a gated community. The driver, Wat, was amazing. He proved to be an excellent tour guide. He took great care of us. We didn't get a chance to meet the maid but she did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

Maid, Driver and Pool - This is the life!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the pool every day. The maid did the dishes and laundry every day. Having clean, pressed laundry really made us feel pampered and on vacation. Wat was a good driver and made it easy to explore Chaing Mai. The villa is about 25-30 minutes from the downtown area, but I think the trade-off is worth it to get the pool, maid and driver. Highly recommend.

Great house for a stay in Chiang Mai

We had a great time - really nice house about 20 min. from Chiang Mai. Clean, modern, good wifi, A/C comfortable beds, nice kitchen. Wat is extremely helpful in getting around, showed us the good restaurants, drove us to Chiang Rai and all the sites around and we didn't feel constrained at all being outside the city and enjoyed coming home to relax and spread out. There's a lot to do in Chiang Mai, most of which is outside the city. Felt like we saved a lot of money having a driver and not having to take a tour to get to all the sites and we could come and go when we wanted. Housekeeper keeps house immaculate and did our laundry everyday which was a treat. Highly recommend.

Beatiful property, would come back again!

Thank you, Diana and Stewart. It was our pleasure meeting both of you! Wish we would have met you guys sooner, there was still so much we would have loved to hear more about Chiang Mai and Thailand in general. My parents, brother and I had a wonderful stay. It was a very beautiful property, very nice and quiet. Not walking distance to anything, but still very convenient due to the driver Watt taking us anywhere we wanted to go. Maid was wonderful as well, we never had to worry about laundry. Diana was very quick to reply to any questions or messages we had. She was very accommodating in whatever you needed. Would book with them again.

This is definitely the way to go when visiting Chang mai.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten day stay in Chang mai,thanks to this beautiful rental property and the maid and chauffeur it afforded us. If you are coming to Chang mai do not hesitate to stay here. We enjoyed all that Chang mai has to offer, but after all the; wonders, foods, and hectic life of the city we were able to retire for rest and relaxation to this lovely property. The maid ( Duen) kept the place spotlessly clean and our clothes freshly washed and pressed. Wat the driver was always early and took us to wherever we wanted to go, he was a safe and conscientious driver. The kitchen and whole house were well appointed and the pool and deck were; comfortable,clean, and refreshing. This is truly the way to go.

Great home for family vacation

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here. The listing description and pictures are very accurate. The rooms were large, everything worked, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the tools needed for cooking. My kids (ages 6&7) really enjoyed playing in the pool and were excited to find some inflatable rafts. The maid tidied, did the dishes, and our laundry daily. The car and driver, which are provided, was a necessity for staying here (unless you're comfortable with renting a car) as the house is ~30 minutes from the old city portion of Chiang Mai, and there's no shopping (not even a 7-11) and only one restaurant within walking distance. The driver was great and took us all the places we wanted to visit. In addition to the old city, we visited Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai Zoo, Doi Inthanon, and the Umbrella Factory. This house is perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of a city, and/or for those with larger families. Staying here was a great value, especially since you don't have to worry about driving yourself places. We were able to see/do lots, and the location didn't limit us at all. We would definitely stay here again!

A home away from home...bliss!

What a treat. This property is definitely a home away from home. Equipped with everything you need. We were a family of 6 with 4 adults and 2 teens and this property was great. The pool and pool area are lovely and were well used during our stay. Wan & Duen looked after us well and Wan was never more than a few minutes away when we called him. I'd done a lot of research before we went to Chiang Mai as to where we wanted to go and this was a big help as I could just run it past Wan the night before and he was then able to give us guidelines as to timings. His driving felt incredibly safe even in the middle of a tropical storm we felt like we were in good hands (not something you can say about many drivers in Thailand). During the storm when the whole area lost power Wan ensured we had torches that worked and was great at looking after us. It was also really nice to see how much he cared about the house...unfortunately it did sustain some damage but he was onto getting things fixed very quickly. The house is about 30 min out of town but with Wan to drive you everywhere it's not a problem. There are restaurants & grocery stores about 10-15 minutes away. Being on this side of town is actually beneficial for some of the sites you may want to see. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home and would definitely return if we were to go back to Chiang Mai.

Exceptional Experience in Chiang Mai!

This was our first visit to Northern Thailand and we had a wonderful nearly two week stay at this house in Hang Dong just outside of Chiang Mai. Wat the driver with his comfortable late model SUV picked us on arrival, drove us to restaurants in the neighborhood around the house, into the city and on trips throughout the region and finally to the airport for our early morning departure. Having an air conditioned car available every day at any time through the day or evening made our vacation so much more easy and enjoyable especially considering the sometimes not too comfortable and expensive local transportation. The house felt like a home, not cold and sterile like many vacation rentals, with art work and lovely decorative touches. Everything was in like new condition and we especially appreciated the kitchen which had much more than the minimum seen it most rentals with all the necessary kitchen tools, dishes, cups. glasses, pots and pans etc. We stocked the fridge and kitchen with supplies from very good local grocery stores. While we didn't cook big meals we were able to have delicious breakfasts, light meals and snacks which is a big benefit over staying in a hotel. The maid kept the house clean every day and did a wonderful job on our laundry bet was not intrusive when we there. One point of note is the exceptional state of the landscaping which was by far the best in the neighborhood with flowers, well kept lawns and hedges and a healthy lush lawn around the pool and patio thanks to the daily efforts of the two staff. If you want the best of a beautiful and calm location and easy access to the hustle and bustle of the city this rental should be on the top of your list. Definitely would recommend this as a 5 star experience!

Nice place away from craziness

Great house with a nice pool, but far away from town. Rarely was it 30 minutes, usually 45mins to an hour. As we visited the city quite often, we grew tired of the drive. For us the cost of the driver (gas + tip) was probably more than just hiring a taxi in the end. It was nice having a maid, but probably not needed every day, and tips are expected on top.

Amazing home with an amazing pool

Our family had an amazing time staying at this home! The home is excellent for a family. Wat was very helpful and kind and took us to many places in and around Chiang Mai! Duen kept the home so clean! The pool and yard was gorgeous. The gated community is nice. Diana was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions! Can't beat it!

House and entire property were clean and very nice. Kitchen well stocked, although we didn't use it much due to too much street food in Chiang Mai. The maid was nice and kept the place very clean. She also did a bunch of laundry- all folded and perfect a few hours after she got it! But the absolute highlight is Wat, the driver. He's a great aid in getting to and around the city, and anywhere else you want to go. He was sooo helpful and nice. An absolute 5 star rating, plus.

Home Away Holiday

The Home Away Villa was lovely! Very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Our driver, Wat, was friendly and well-accustomed to driving the Thai highways, and always got us where we needed to be on time. Our housekeeper was very efficient, and always gave us clean laundry every day! What a treat! Communications with the owner were great. We would definitely recommend this quiet, peaceful home to our friends and family. Local restaurants were quite limited, however, once we were in Chiang Mai, our food options were unlimited!

Absolutely Beautiful Home and Fantastic Stay!

Diana and Stuarts beautiful home in Chiang Mai is as stated and photographed as experienced. This was a wonderful retreat for our two week stay in Chiang Mai. The house is spotless, the house keeper, Duen keeps the home immaculate. An extra perk was the laundry service, each day our laundry was laundered and ironed ~ completely spoiled with this! Diana and Stuart also provide you with a car and driver for your time in their home. Wat took us everywhere, he was attentive, kind and knowledgeable about every place of interest in Chiang Mai. Again, an added perk to our trip that made us feel like royalty. We came to love the staff as they concerned themselves with making our holiday just perfect! The property is very well kept, gardening was regularly attended to and also the daily upkeep of the pool. We enjoyed the option of a swim although it was so hot during the time we were there we quickly found ourselves relaxing inside if we were not on an excursion. The home simply felt like home. Diana was attentive to our email dialogue and available when we needed her, as owners they are uniquely invested in your holiday and want only the best experience for their guests staying in their home. Our 14 day stay was not long enough, we would choose this home again if we ever head back to Chiang Mai ~ a city worth traveling too, a home worth staying in. Thank you Diana, Stuart, Wat and Duen!

Prachtige Villa voorzien van alle gemakken en verzorging!

Tijdens onze 17-daagse reis in Thailand verbleven wij met ons gezin 5 nachten in deze prachtige Villa. Wij hebben enorm genoten van het huis welke is voorzien van alle gemakken. De keuken is zeer compleet uitgerust en het ruime zwembad voorzien van divers zitmeubilair en schommelstoelen. Alle ruimtes waren voorzien van vrijwel nieuwe airco's en met de temperaturen in Thailand is dat wel zo aangenaam. De communicatie met Diana en Stuart verliep vooraf en tijdens ons verblijf perfect. Diana wilt er alles aan doen om je verblijf zo zorgeloos mogelijk te laten verlopen. Maar waarvan we wellicht nog het meest hebben genoten zijn van onze zeer behulpzame taxichauffeur Wat en Duen voor de huishouding. Wat zorgt er elke dag voor dat je kunt gaan en staan waar je maar wilt. Hij rijdt je overal naar toe. Wij waren met de nachttrein vanuit Bangkok gekomen en Wat had ons zeer vroeg in de ochtend opgehaald. Verder heeft Duen tijdens ons verblijf alles perfect bijgehouden in huis en zorgde ervoor dat de was elke dag schoon en gestreken op bed lag. Deze 2 hele lieve mensen zorgen voor een heerlijke vakantie. Verder is er in de omgeving van Chiang Mai erg veel te ondernemen en ligt de Villa ongeveer 15 auto minuten van het centrum. Nogmaals willen wij Diana, Stuart, Wat en Duen bedanken voor dit heerlijke verblijf!

Spotless house, nice weekend getaway

We (3 adults, 2 kids - aged 3 and 1) stayed in this house during a weekend getaway from Bangkok. The house was spotless, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Wat (driver) was very patient and accommodating and we felt quite safe having him drive us around. The maid Duean was also great with our laundry and cleaning. Pool was very nice and we enjoyed lounging outside on the chair/swing combos as well. The location is a bit outside Chiang Mai City but very safe and quiet and close to Doi Suthep and some other local attractions. Note for those with (small) kids - the house is not really babyproof (moveable glass on top of tables) and you definitely need to keep an eye on toddlers/infants. We did appreciate the highchair provided though!

Wat the driver was amazing. He was so nice and took us where ever we wanted to go. Duen the cleaning woman always made sure the house was spotless and she did our laundry. What a treat that was! The house was very well maintained. Kitchen was equipped with every thing we could need. Pool area is great for lounging and swimming to cool off. It was like our own little private resort in a quiet neighborhood away from all the hustle and bustle. Diana was very responsive and prompt. She’s great and so is this luxury villa.

Excellent villa stay

Our family had a wonderful visit to Chiang Mai staying in this luxury villa. The property is exactly as depicted in the listing and photos. The pool is outstanding and a great spot to cool off in the heat. Very quiet relaxing neighborhood, but not far to get to the centre of Chiang Mai and other activities. The driver provided with the Villa was fantastic. We really appreciated his services and the transfers that were included with the Villa rental as well as the ability to have him take us to activities in the area. The home and property are very well maintained and comfortable overall. Lots of things to do in the Chiang Mai area. A highlight for us was a day spent with the elephants at Chi Jungle Man. Small ethical operation that allows you to visit the elephants and accompany them throughout a normal days activities including preparing and feeding them, hike through the jungle, and down to the river to bathe them and to learn a lot about elephants, their history in Thailand, as well as about the Karen people. It was a real once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A great vacation villa

We spent wonderful days in this great villa with our 3 kids. The driver was very kind and drove very carefully. The house was clean and our laundry ready very quickly. One of our best stays ever!

Thank you Diana for making our stay so easy! From the moment we arrived in Chiang Mai, we knew we found someplace special! Wat the driver was at the airport to pick us up and he managed to get all our luggage and the 5 of us in the car! He has the patience of a saint! He was there to take us to all the amazing places in and around Chiang Mai. Everyday we came home To a sparkling clean house! Plus Duen the housekeeper had all of our laundry done. She is an amazing and a very kind person! We were a family of 5, our son and wife with our adult granddaughter. This house worked perfect! The pool was a hit! It was a perfect place to cool off. Amazing

We stayed at this property for four nights in April 2016. As promised the driver was already waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. My husband and I and our three kids +2 big suitcases fit in the car. The drive was about 20 minutes to the house. The complex is quiet and beautifully maintained and has security at the front. The house was immaculate. The maid even did our laundry for us daily. It was very nice considering we only packed a suitcase for 7 days and had still 7 days left in Phuket. There's air-conditioning in each bedroom and in the kitchen area. The kitchen has everything that you might need for cooking a full meal. The Big C supermarket is only a 10 minute drive away from the property and the driver had no problems driving back-and-forth. We had planned our own activities for the day, and the driver got up really early to drop off or pick us up very late in the evening. The maid and driver were very nice. The swimming pool is a good size to entertain a family of five, and there were even some water toys there already. Water was clean and maintained daily. The Owner was very accommodating answering all our questions and even send us a stuffy that was left behind by one of our daughters all the way back to Canada.

Nice, peaceful and well maintained three bed room villa in upscale part of Hang Dong section of Chiang Mai. Owner has equipped and maintained the property with latest equipment's and appliances. With the exception of actual cooking every thing is taken care of for you. Driver and maid are empowered employees who promptly take care of all your needs; cleaning, ironing, washing, etc. Wife got spoiled in short time. Hang Dong has two nice golf courses, one of them well lighted 18 hole for night time Tee off. Ran into two nice guys from Tasminia and we palyed three time in two weeks. The Caddie crew is all femle and they are all well trained fun little charming ladies. Driver dropped me off for 4 hours of 18 holes and took wife for patty cure, manicure and massage. We had prepaid for 14 days of stay, but due to conflict in train and flight schedules out of Chaing Mai we could only stay for 13 days. The owners promptly gave us one day credit without our asking. Smart business lady, I guess!

Why they chose this property

This property is great! It's quiet, peaceful and the surroundings are very lush, green and tropical. It also has 24/7 security and is away from the noise and hussle and bustle of the city. Plus we have our own private swimming pool. There is also a tennis court, a large Balinese style, swimming pool, and a work out area just down the street. A fee of 60 baht must be paid at the office for each time that you use these community facilities.

What makes this property unique

We have the best driver, Wat, to assist you in getting you to the various attractions that you would like to see while visiting in Chiang Mai. Our driver, Wat will be on call to you for a total of 15 hours each day. If you hired a private driver with a car in Chiang Mai for 8 hours, it would cost you $100 for only the 8 hours. All trips that are within a 75 mile (120 Km) radius of Chiang Mai are included in the price. Extra fees apply to White Temple/Chiang Rai. Wat, our driver is very patient and always willing to help you. A cell phone will be provided for you to use during your stay at our vacation villa. It will come with minutes already on it but you can purchase additional minutes at any 7-11 store.
Our daily maid service is outstanding! All of your laundry and cleaning will be given the utmost attention.
The private swimming pool is a also great asset for those who wish to swim without being crowded in a public pool. Enjoy!
