Surroundings
This holiday home, typical of the Fischland region and featuring ten units, is situated in a stunning location directly behind the dune and only about 50 metres from the white Baltic Sea beach. A small side street ensures peace and relaxation away from the main road. The town centre, with its shops, restaurants, cafés, and numerous art galleries, is just a stone’s throw away and easily accessible on foot. A special highlight is the fish market on the river, where freshly caught fish is sold straight from the boat—provided the wind is blowing at less than three knots.

Holiday Rental
The holiday rental is located on the ground floor and is decorated in bright, cheerful colours that complement the beach setting.

Living & Sleeping Area
The combined living and sleeping area features a double bed (180 cm), a cosy sitting area with a TV, and a dining area. The open layout creates a pleasant living atmosphere.

Kitchen & Bathroom
The kitchen is located in a separate, windowless room, but is fully equipped and offers everything needed to prepare simple meals while on holiday.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet.

Special Features
The house features a shared sauna that operates on a coin-operated system.
A token (good for 90 minutes of use) costs 5 EUR and is available at the Meerfischland office.

Accessibility
Access to the apartment is via a side entrance with one step. The apartment itself is on one level and is designed to be step-free throughout. The bathroom is equipped with a shower with a shower pan.

Just a few metres from the beautiful Baltic Sea beach and as the last house before the white sand dunes lies the charming thatched-roof holiday complex “Strandhaus Claassen.” The idyllic location, with views of the sea, the dunes, and the picturesque countryside surrounded by traditional thatched-roof cottages, is truly one-of-a-kind. You can’t get any closer to the sea when holidaying in Ahrenshoop. And the town centre, with its many cafés, restaurants, art galleries, bakeries, fish shops, and supermarket, is just a stone’s throw away on foot. It’s the perfect holiday complex for leaving your car behind and exploring all the sights on foot or by bike.

To the holiday complex
There are a total of ten holiday apartments in the complex, all with thatched roofs. Although similarly equipped, the cosy holiday apartments vary in size, capacity, and whether they feature a terrace or balcony with a garden view or the popular ocean view. Inside the building itself, there is a communal sauna with a relaxation room, offering a soothing break from a long walk on the beach—especially during the colder months. Strandhaus Claassen captivates with its traditional Darß-style architecture; just the sight of it radiates the joy of holiday. A stone wall runs around the property, blending harmoniously with the beachfront surroundings. Incidentally, all ten holiday apartments have one thing in common: the melodious sounds made by the sea and the seabirds. It’s the perfect place to unwind from everyday life, enjoy the view of the sea, and let your mind wander.
