Ahoy and welcome to the stylish “Osternest Holiday Rental,” your cosy home away from home, located very close to the beach. Just a few minutes’ walk and you’ll be greeting the North Sea waves! With room for up to 5 people (including a toddler, if needed), plenty of natural light, and a gorgeous southeast-facing terrace, you’ll enjoy relaxing days in our comfortable basement apartment, complete with comfort and North Sea charm.

You’ll find a lovingly designed, high-quality interior; maritime accessories create a cosy atmosphere and the perfect holiday vibe for your getaway by the sea.

After a day at the beach or a stroll around the island, the living room invites you to relax and unwind! With a comfortable seating area, a modern TV with a Blu-ray/DVD player, and a small stereo system, it’s a cosy spot to watch films, listen to music, or enjoy time with friends. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone.

You can also enjoy pure relaxation on the beautiful southeast-facing terrace: A beach chair, a lounger, and patio furniture guarantee a relaxing outdoor experience. Starting in the late morning, you can enjoy the sun here until it sets in the west over Wangerooge.

For convenient self-catering during your holiday, the separate, modern kitchen is fully equipped—including a 4-burner ceramic stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. This allows you to quickly and easily prepare delicious meals or snacks. The large dining table offers plenty of space for a hearty holiday breakfast and cosy evenings.

Two separate bedrooms provide pleasant places to retreat. One of the rooms is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), a wardrobe, and a modern wall-mounted TV; the other features a single bed (90 x 200 cm) and a chest of drawers. The sleeping area is separated from the living area by a satin-finished sliding glass door and a floor-to-ceiling mirror, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Two additional guests can sleep on the comfortable couch in the living room.

The elegant bathroom, featuring a shower, a vanity with mirror, a makeup mirror, and a toilet, adds to the comfort of your stay.

Notes: A cot and high chair can be added to your reservation upon request. There is a washing machine in the apartment for your laundry needs. This is a non-smoking property, and pets are not allowed; we appreciate your understanding. The apartment has its own entrance on the right side and, thanks to its location, is not visible from the other apartments.

Holiday at Haus Iris—close to the beach and centrally located!

Its quiet yet central location makes “Haus Iris” the perfect starting point for your island holiday: the beach, town centre, and shopping are just a few minutes’ walk away. Enjoy your getaway in style, with sunshine and North Sea charm—welcome to “Holiday Apartment 1” on Wangerooge!

On this car-free island, all distances can be easily covered on foot or by bike. The beautiful main beach is just a short walk away. Here you can relax completely, go swimming, jog, or try out water sports.
The island village is also right nearby. Many restaurants and shops are located on Zedeliusstraße—Wangerooge’s “main promenade.” Bike rentals are scattered throughout the town centre.

The Old Lighthouse, which houses the island museum, is about a 7-minute bike ride away. From the gallery, you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the island and the Wadden Sea. The Oase seawater water park invites you to enjoy indoor swimming fun (about a 2-minute bike ride). The nearby Wangerooge National Park Centre is also worth a visit: Here you can learn more about nature and the Wadden Sea, including a sperm whale skeleton.
