Our accommodation is unique because it combines the tranquility of a green setting with practical amenities. Of course, we maintain the water daily and ensure perfect water quality without you even noticing. Equally unique is the direct access to a covered private garden with a fire pit and gas grill, which you can reach right from the apartment and that invites you to linger outdoors. Inside, you’ll find cosy furnishings with great attention to detail, a fully equipped kitchen, a bright living and dining room with a large sleeper sofa, and two separate bedrooms for comfort and privacy—ideal for families, couples, or business travellers. We want every guest to feel welcome right away: free high-speed Wi-Fi (Starlink), convenient parking—including a wallbox for charging your electric car right at the house—and a quick self-check-in with a numeric code ensure maximum flexibility around the clock. For walkers and dog owners, the area offers wonderful views and farms to explore on foot, starting right at our doorstep from the Rockenhübel Recreation Area. For a relaxed start to the day, we recommend breakfast at Anja’s Eck in Illingen—easily accessible on foot via our hiking trail in just a few minutes (we recommend making a reservation by phone; contact information is available at the accommodation). The surrounding area also offers regional restaurants, cosy cafés and breweries, snack bars, and two local pubs. Popular excursions also include visits to the Völklinger Hütte World Cultural Heritage Site, the Gondwana Prehistory Museum, Saarbrücken, or the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve. Thanks to the central location, even day trips to France or Luxembourg are easily accessible.
