About this property
The Center Of The Center! Covent Garden Yds From The Piazza
The apartment is a spacious 65 sq metres / 700 sq foot two-bedroom apartment with one and a half bathrooms, a separate living room & separate kitchen on historic, pedestrian only, (but quiet) Floral Street in Covent Garden. The absolute center of London’s Theater Land. It is a lovely, comfortable apartment furnished in an inviting, traditional style. It has only recently been refurbished so fixtures, furniture and fittings are all of high quality and recently installed. Master Bedroom has a Super King size bed (180 x 210cm/6ft double). 2nd Bedroom has a standard double bed (135 x 210cm / 4½ ft double) with a Tempur memory mattress. We can put up in the lounge the single inflatable Aerobed. It's dimensions: 188 x 99 x 46 cm / 74” x 39” x 18” & it supports weight: 136 kg / 300 lbs (US). Large Living room with dining area. Fully equipped large kitchen. This apartment is pretty much fully equipped and the location! The flat is located on the third (fourth in American English) floor of a 1985 brick building of high quality and attractive design. There is an elevator (lift) & you enter the hallway with walk-in cupboard to store your suitcases , etc. Off the hallway is a large dining and living room with polished wood floors and oriental rug. A formal dining table can seat up to six. There are two sofas &, a flat screen Smart TV and Wifi internet, digital radio, Sony music centre. The Kitchen is large and has all the normal appliances i.e. microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer. There are individually controlled radiators in both the 2 bedrooms and living (reception) room, hallway and bathroom, and the flat is well insulated (with double glass panes). There is one full bathroom including shower, tub, sink, commode, bidet, and the second bathroom has a sink and commode. The kitchen is large and is a separate room with all electric appliances including refrigerator, freezer, cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer machine and separate dryer in utility cupboard. Plus a filter coffee maker, a Nespresso machine & aero to warm the milk, kettle & toaster. There is china, glassware, flatware, pots and pans--and a tea set; teapot with sugar bowl & matching cups. Location is outstanding in the very central of London's Theatre district. Many of London's treasures are within a short walk: 1 block to the spectacular new Royal Opera House (do take the backstage tour) NB The Royal Ballet School is on the same street as the flat. 7 minutes to the British Museum (see the newly restored Reading Room) 2-10 minutes to most West End Theatres, 10 minutes to the magnificent National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery (newly expanded), and the Courtauld; 15 minutes across Waterloo Bridge past views of The Eye (Ferris wheel) to the South Bank Centre with the National Theatre (3 stages), Royal Festival Hall (3 venues), Old Vic and Young Vic. Floral Street, itself, is no longer the epicentre of the London flower market. Instead it has been turned into a pedestrian-only (except for your taxi) oasis of laid-back, ultra-cool fashion and hip. The apartment is just metres away from the central piazza of Covent Garden and its Opera, Ballet, buskers and designers. Floral street itself harbours Paul Smith and other designer shops, TK Max, an expresso coffee bar and one of London oldest Travel book store Stamfords. Being at the centre of the centre of ‘Theatrical London’ means of course that transport links are superb and the range of shopping is mind-boggling. There are 5 underground stations, all lines are within 5-15 minutes walk, many bus routes & of course the famous Black Cab taxis. The Covent Garden (Piccadilly to Heathrow airport & Central line) & Leicester Square Underground ("tube") are both around the corner (half a black away), 5 minutes to & 10 minutes to Holborn. Also Embankment and Charing Cross (Bakerloo & Northern lines) with several underground lines. Plus at Charing Cross trains to many parts of Great Britain. The select few people who are able to afford private accommodation in Floral Street include world-famous conductors, musicians, dancers & impresarios people for whom the location and the “buzz” are vital. We hope you too will feel just that bit ‘special’ in this very special location. We look forward to welcoming you to London. Our Check in time is after 16:00 and we are happy to check you in later but please note if you wish to arrive after 20:00 we reserve the right to charge a Late arrival fee.

Thanks for being such great guests. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you on another visit.
This flat was wonderfully located and very thoughtfully furnished. We could not have had a better home base to explore London. The host and check in/out people were very kind and gracious. We would definitely stay here again!
Wonderful location, beautiful flat! The personal welcome & introduction to the flat was very thoughtful. Even fresh flowers on the table! Communication with Ann & her team was great. Would definitely stay here again!
Hosts were very responsive, friendly and helpful. The flat is very comfortable all around. The kitchen is very well equipped. NB lots of Nespresso coffee pods were made available which was appreciated. Everything was is good working order. Wifi was glitch-free. The location is perfect for where we want to be and go in London.
Excellent location, easy walking distance to amenities and attractions, as well as public transportation. The condo was clean and spacious enough to be a good fit for our family of four--two teens, so the airbed was a welcome inclusion. Really thorough and timely communication from Ann (both specific to the unit, as well as the area) from time of booking all the way until our arrival. And once we arrived we were met without issue at the unit by Linda and received a thorough wall-through which was much appreciated as well. Very nice, and helpful with any questions along the way. Highly recommend.
This flat is located in a perfect area for walking and immersing yourself in the London experience. Everything in the flat was very comfortable, roomy, and a perfect place to unwind after a busy day in the city. I highly recommend staying here, and would love to come back and stay again! Check-in with Linda was thorough and so welcoming. Kitchen was perfect for the meals we cooked at the flat.
Spectacular, start to finish—Linda met us and gave us a thorough overview of the property. The location is absolutely amazing, easy walk or public transport to anywhere. The entire flat is exceptionally comfortable, perfect to relax after a long day out and about.
Super central apartment. You can walk to everything. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Communication was excellent and Linda was amazing. I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed this rental.

I thoroughly recommend Kristy and her family to any host.

This apartment is ideally located within a short walking distance of theaters and museums on a charming street. In addition, the area has excellent restaurants and fine shops.
The flat is just as pictured and very comfortable. It is well maintained and has all the conveniences one could want. Bed was comfortable. The location is perfect with literally dozens of restaurants, pubs, shopping, within a few minutes.
We did not get to stay there too long, but the communication was amazing, the place was immaculate, and the area was spectacular! As you can see, we really love the place and would definitely stay here again should we be in London.
Great apartment in the heart of Covent Garden. Best location near shops, restaurants and around the corner from tube. Perfect for a family of four. Ann and Linda were exceptional throughout the entire process and very accommodating. I would stay again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend to anyone looking for a larger flat in a great location.
Outstanding faultless apartment on a pedestrian street astonishingly close to great London cultural icons, with the Royal Opera House down the road. Excellent beds and facilities. Quiet at night. Great customer service and communications with timely and informative meet and greet. Would love to go back!
Thank you so much for having us!!! Apartment was clean with everything we needed. Linda, thank you for your hospitality and explanations. In 4 days we were able to see majority of historical cites, museums and even ABBA :) all thx to perfect location. Chestnut Bakery downstairs made it sweeter (won best croissants in London in 2023). Hope to be back!

We'd love to have you come and stay again. Thanks for being great guests.
We had a pleasant stay. All services were provided as requested. Communication with the host before, during, and after our stay was excellent.Checking in and out of the apartment was uncomplicated. Linda was very accommodating. The following information relates solely to the booking platform fewo-direkt:A 2% surcharge was added to the total amount without being disclosed. fewo-direkt was confronted with this and was unable to determine the surcharge itself.I have not yet received the promised response.
We enjoyed our stay in this flat! The location was perfect! Very short walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants and Covent Gardens tube station. Linda greeted us in person at check-in and called prior to check out. She was very cheerful and shared informative details relating to the flat. She was also very helpful when we asked for tube information and advice. Great experience! We would stay in this flat again.
We were exceptionally happy and satisfied with our stay in Ann's apartment. Ann and Linda were very welcoming and easily adjusted to our needs. Strategically located, the apartment is conveniently 2 minutes away from the Picadilly line and is very quiet despite being at the heart of Covent Garden. The apartment is very clean and well equipped for our 6 day stay. I will stay here again in a heartbeat. Love, love, love. Thanks, Ann!
Great location just steps away from Covent Garden tube stop and The Apple Market. Fantastic shopping & dining, though it can be really crowded with tourists. Morning and evenings are quiet.
Apartment is spacious and well equipped. Clean. Great washer & dryer that we needed very much by this point in a long trip!
Working with Ann and Linda the whole process was super easy.
Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in London!

About the host
Hosted by Ann Hutcheson
Ann is a londoner born and bred. After several years living in France she came to the conclusion that there was no point in living out of the center of London since when she 'came to town' she simply didn't have the time or the energy to spend time either in the car or on public transport.
Why they chose this property
Floral Street (as its name suggests) was the main street in the old Covent Garden flower market. It is about as central as you can get if you want to be in the London of theaters. museums, art galleries, music and restaurants. As well as its superb location the apt is in a well looked after building with an elevator. Floral Street is pedestrian/taxi only.
What makes this property unique
The benefits of being here are simply too numerous to list - suffice it to say that if your interests are in any way cultural or gastronomic you are where you need to be if you are visiting London! You are within a short walk of (amongst hundreds of other things) The Royal Opera, The British Museum,The National Gallery,Royal Festival Hall, National Theatre, Colosseum Theatre, Tin-Pan Alley, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Sqaure, House of Parliament, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, Oxford Street with the famous Selfridges department store and all the other british shops and so much more....... Being at the centre of the centre of ‘Theatrical London’ means of course that transport links are superb and the range of shopping is mind-boggling. There are 5 underground stations, all lines are within 5-15 minutes walk, many bus routes & of course the famous Black Cab taxis. The Covent Garden (Piccadilly to Heathrow airport line) & Leicester Square Underground ("tube") are both around the corner (half a black away) & 10 minutes to Holborn(Central & Piccadilly lines). Also Embankment (circle and district lines) and Charing Cross (Bakerloo & Northern lines). Plus at Charing Cross trains to many parts of Great Britain.
