Perfect location with updated amenities 2024, including air conditioning in each room with separate adjustment. This is a perfect spot for a family, or 4 gals going shopping, 4 guys going golfing, or 2 couples sharing a vacation in Door County. Two comfortable bedrooms have attached bathrooms with beautifully tiled showers, accessible from your bedroom or the hallway. Our bedrooms offer updated king beds or can be configured into twins if that better meets your needs. Enjoy cable TV or a movie from your bed. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious so you can cook in - or cook out on the grill. It is well stocked with cookware and appliances so you can enjoy fixing a meal in your home away from home. It's an easy walk to Main St Market, downtown shopping and restaurants. Sharing coffee or an afternoon refreshment on the front porch is about as pleasant as it gets. The living room is light and airy combining with the kitchen to make a spacious great room for your group. Pull up a stool to the counter and plug in your computer - the house is equipped with WIFI. Washer and dryer downstairs are also available for your use. The yard is big and pleasant, adjoining a former cherry orchard. Enjoy an evening around the fire pit! You can walk to the Marina from here, or to the beautiful Egg Harbor beach, and enjoy the free concerts at the park on Sunday afternoon's. No need for a car while in Egg Harbor at the Yellow House. .

If you prefer the privacy of a house vs a condo, give us a call. There is plenty of space here to park your boat, store your bikes, or to play with your kids in the yard. Grill up a storm...Take a run...Watch a game at the field nearby - this is a great place to chill out! If you like air conditioned bedrooms with nice beds and linens, private bathrooms for each bedroom, a well stocked kitchen, a new washer & dryer, and a comfy place to hang out, this could be the place for you! Great location. Great front porch for hanging out. The bedroom outlets wouldn’t work (they were all loose so nothing stayed plugged in. Easy fix. Nice size kitchen with everything you need.

Second time staying at the Yellow House, and we appreciate the upgrades! Perfect place for 2 couples, and equipped with everything we needed. A short walk into Downtown Egg Harbor and great location for exploring all of the Door: theater, trolley tours, restaurants, wineries, state parks, and more. Highly recommend this property for comfort and a lovely place to hang out on the porch or in the spacious back yard.

Great house

We enjoyed staying at The Little Yellow House. Great location. It’s on a busy road, but you don’t hear the traffic with the windows closed. The front porch is absolutely charming and comfortable as well. The house was immaculate.

We had an amazing stay in the yellow house in Egg Harbor! The house was very clean, had updated bathrooms and air units, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked! The location was perfect as we enjoyed walking into town each day.We spent a lot of time on the front porch, which was shaded and had a cool breeze, along with beautiful lights of the sun and moon at night. We truly enjoyed the quieter pace of Egg Harbor, which still offered plenty to do, especially compared to the crowded atmosphere of other towns. After many years of coming to Door County this was our first VRBO experience and we were not disappointed! We would love to stay again!

Very clean. Well stocked. Nicely remodeled. The built in wall air conditioners were a challenge. It would be nice to have directions on how to operate.

Great place to stay

This property is in the middle of Door County and makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. The property is very clean and well stocked. Egg Harbor is the perfect small town with plenty to offer you.

The location of this property is fabulous! Walk to shops and restaurants in lovely Egg Harbor. The two en suite bedrooms is soooo wonderful! Both with televisions and nice lamps for reading in bed.

Perfect girlfriend getaway

We loved staying at the Yellow House: myself and girlfriends who go to Door County every summer for Plein Air week. Very good communication with host and property manager. Very responsive.Easy check-in (lock box), lovely, clean lodging. We wanted for nothing. Well stocked kitchen, and the host had the king beds turned into twins for us. We loved sitting on the front porch to enjoy morning coffee, and playing Farkle and Mexican Train Dominoes at the table. Comfortable furniture and adequate lighting to read, including at the bedsides. A/C was appreciated in this elevated heat. Well-located to get anywhere on the Door. We had a great time.

As a person who enjoys outdoor participation, I have been active in Door County for over 50 years, since high school. I love the combination of land and water and love to share it through the Yellow House. I personally like to spend time sailing, kayaking, biking and hiking. I live on Lake Michigan in Oostburg, WI, but travel frequently to Egg Harbor to visit my son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren who live in Egg Harbor year-round.

Why they chose this property

This was originally my son's first home. When he and his family outgrew it, I thought the best use of this great location would be to set it up for vacationers. It lets me share a favorite spot. My son and daughter-in-law live nearby and manage the property.

What makes this property unique

This is the first house on the right as you come into Egg Harbor, from the South. Egg Harbor is growing with many fun opportunities, and the Yellow House is close to everything. It is also convenient, and central to everything in the county. Most of the county villages are within 25 minutes with the most distant being about 45 minutes along beautiful county roads. The Yellow House meets a sojourner's needs. It's clean and functional, nothing fussy, just easy! Relax and enjoy your stay.
