of Schleswig-Holstein’s largest river, this retreat offers a space where time, space, and thoughts slow down.
Located on Vogteistraße in Süderstapel, this extraordinary house whose design is reminiscent of an American bungalow
and which, with its earth-toned, overlapping roof of French clay shingles, virtually blends into the landscape.
The ground-floor apartment offers an exclusive holiday home for two people, spanning approximately 100 square metres.
A spacious south-facing balcony stretches across the entire width of the house, overlooking the Eider River,
a place for long mornings, quiet afternoons, and unforgettable sunsets.
Inside, natural materials and clean lines dominate. Oak panelling on the walls, herringbone oak parquet under
your feet, and select Jura natural stone in the bathroom and kitchen create an atmosphere that is both warm and minimalist.
The bathroom becomes a personal spa with a walk-in shower and freestanding bathtub, while the wood-burning stove
provides cosy warmth on cooler days. The furnishings are deliberately minimalist, carefully selected for their high quality
and allow the true star of the show to take centre stage: nature. Special lighting bathes the rooms in the evening
in a soft, cosy glow, making every moment peaceful and atmospheric.
Amenities include free Wi-Fi, a washing machine, and an 11-kW electric car charging station right next to the house.
The charging station is billed based on consumption in kWh; electricity, water, and heating are already included in the rent.
Sustainability here isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of the concept. The KfW-55 standard, an air-source heat pump,
green electricity, and short distances for cyclists underscore the conscious use of resources.
