"Living in the Vineyard" ... these are three cosy, comfortable holiday homes in a quiet location in Freyburg in the Saale-Unstrut wine-growing region, the "Tuscany of the North."
The location of the homes is truly ideal for guests who appreciate both the proximity to the historic district and the natural surroundings, as well as a variety of recreational activities.

The wide variety of sights, bike trails, and wineries in the area offers plenty of variety for an eventful stay. The nearby forest and Lake Geiseltal are perfect destinations for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The opportunity to explore the area by bike while visiting the small wineries is particularly appealing.

The Riesling holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday. The amenities leave nothing to be desired, and the variety of leisure activities ensures that you’ll never get bored. Whether you want to explore nature or simply enjoy the peace and quiet, there’s something for everyone here. Covered patio with grill, kitchen with dishwasher and all necessary appliances (filter and pod coffee makers), washing machine, bathroom (toilet/shower), and a second bathroom with washing machine (toilet/bathtub), 1 bedroom on the ground floor (bed 140 x 200 cm, one bed 90 x 200 cm), a loft (bed 140 x 200 cm, one sofa bed 100 x 200 cm), living room with wood-burning stove, TV, sofa, dining area, and kitchen.

A €130.00 cash deposit is required upon arrival. This deposit will be used to cover electricity usage and the local tourist tax. The refund will be issued via bank transfer to the account specified by the guest after the final settlement!

Wir haben dieses Ferienhaus für 4 Erwachsene gebucht, wurden jedoch in mehreren Punkten enttäuscht. Der Stauraum ist völlig unzureichend: Im gesamten Haus steht lediglich ein einziger 60 cm breiter Kleiderschrank zur Verfügung. Eines der Schlafzimmer ist ein Schlafboden, der ausschließlich über eine sehr steile Raumspartreppe erreichbar ist. Da sich beide Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss befinden, ist der Weg dorthin nicht ganz ungefährlich.Zudem gab es hygienische Mängel. In den Unterschränken der Küche roch es stark muffig. Auch der Außenbereich wirkte vernachlässigt und sorgte leider nicht nicht für Entspannung und Erholung. Positiv können wir die Ausstattung der Küche und der Wohnraummöbel erwähnen. Von der Umgebung und den Weingütern waren wir sehr beeindruckt und haben mit dem Fahrrad viele Sehenswürdigkeiten besucht.

Grundsätzlich verzichten wir darauf, Gästebewertungen zu kommentieren. In diesem besonderen Fall möchten wir jedoch einige Punkte richtigstellen, da die geschilderten Gegebenheiten nicht den tatsächlichen Ursachen entsprechen. Die erwähnte Raumspartreppe ist eine bei einem Fachhändler erworbene, zugelassene Wendeltreppe mit Geländer. Sie führt vom Wohnbereich zum Schlafboden und ist im Inserat mehrfach und deutlich durch Fotos dargestellt. Die Buchung erfolgte im Frühjahr 2026; erst kurz vor der Anreise wurde die Treppe seitens der Gäste thematisiert. Ein kostenfreier Rücktritt war aufgrund der bestehenden vertraglichen Bedingungen nicht mehr möglich. Das Ferienhaus wurde 2023 neu in die Vermietung aufgenommen. Seit Frühjahr 2026 durften wir bereits 14 Gästegruppen begrüßen, die das Haus, dessen Außenbereich sowie die Umgebung durchweg positiv bewertet haben. In der Küche stellen wir unseren Gästen sämtliche notwendigen Hygieneartikel kostenfrei zur Verfügung, einschließlich Geschirrspültabs. Beim notwendigen Vor-Ort-Termin mit den Gästen sowie einem hinzugezogenen Dritten konnten im Küchen- und Wohnbereich keine Auffälligkeiten festgestellt werden – auch nicht bei vorgefundenen geschlossenen Fenstern. Die weiteren in der Bewertung genannten Punkte entsprechen ebenfalls nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten vor Ort.
