The Backbord holiday rental is a beautifully furnished, nautically themed, non-smoking apartment spanning 42 square metres. From the balcony and all the windows, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the lagoon city’s harbour basin all the way to the Uecker River. The west-facing, tiled balcony is furnished with four chairs, a table, and a beach umbrella.

Your living room features a large natural wood wall unit, a pull-out sofa bed that sleeps two, an armchair, and a coffee table that can be easily moved on casters. Your holiday rental has a cable connection. For multimedia entertainment, a flat-screen TV is available. There are also several board games on hand.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a double bed, a wardrobe, a mirror, and plenty of storage space. The bedroom window is floor-to-ceiling, so you can watch the boats in the harbour from your bed.
Your kitchenette opens onto the living room, making the space feel more spacious. In your open-concept living and dining area, you’ll find a dining table with four chairs. The kitchenette is very well equipped. It includes, among other things, a ceramic cooktop with an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, plenty of dishes, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The bathroom has a shower with a shower enclosure, a mirror cabinet, and, of course, a hair dryer and storage space. Your hallway features a coat rack, a shoe rack, and a wall mirror.
The Backbord apartment is located on the ground floor of the Regatta building at Entrance 1. Other holiday apartments owned by our company are located in the immediate vicinity of this apartment. It’s very easy to rent these units together.

The Holiday Rentals
Our holiday rentals in Ueckermünde are high-quality, fully furnished apartments located directly on the waterfront. All bedroom windows are equipped with fly screens, and the patio doors each have an insect screen. All bedrooms can be completely darkened. Each holiday rental provides a travel cot and a high chair free of charge. Parking spaces are available for an additional fee in Lagunenstadt am Haff. Smoking is not permitted in any of the holiday rentals, and you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend to many of the accommodation.
The Lagoon Town
The Lagoon Town on the Haff is located in the immediate vicinity of the Uecker River’s mouth where it flows into the Szczecin Lagoon. The lagoon, which has direct access to the Baltic Sea, is a perfect starting point for all kinds of water sports. The Lagoon City offers 380 boat berths, a boat fuelling station, a boat ramp, and parking spaces for boat caravans. If you don’t want to bring your own boat, you can use our rental service located in the harbour on the lagoon. Motorboats, jet skis, and canoes are available for rent here. Boats that do not require a licence are also available.
Aside from its maritime setting, the spacious, well-maintained facility has much more to offer. For sports activities, there is a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop, and a small football field. A children’s playground is also available here. In the lagoon town, there’s a bistro where you can also enjoy breakfast. If you’d prefer to prepare your own meals, you can use the bread roll delivery service on the premises. The barbecue area for your own cookouts rounds out the amenities.
Ueckermünde Beach
The fine sandy beach of Ueckermünde, located just 200 metres from Lagunenstadt, is equally popular with all beachgoers. When it comes to dining, you can choose from various fish and snack stands or stop by the beautiful beach hall. In addition to beach volleyball courts, a bungee trampoline facility, and a mini-golf course, the water sports centre is a real crowd-pleaser.
The Seaside Resort of Ueckermünde
The seaside resort of Ueckermünde is a small town over 750 years old that has been beautifully restored. The town’s central square is the market square. Concerts are frequently held here in the summer. The market square is also the starting point for various guided tours of the town. Many restaurants dot the townscape. Otherwise, the usual range of services found in a German seaside resort—from banks to pharmacies, from supermarkets to boutiques—is all within walking distance. Special highlights certainly include the town cinema and the pier of the Oderhaff Reederei Peters, which offers not only tours of the lagoon but also excursions to Usedom and Poland. The zoo in Ueckermünde is always worth a visit. A special highlight is our 3D black-light indoor mini-golf course in the old train station in Ueckermünde. It’s the perfect change of pace after—or instead of—a day at the beach.
