About this property

BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS, CENTRAL TO FERNIE & KIMBERLY, ENDLESS ADVENTURES

This amazing 2600 sqft carriage house was designed as a guest rental with all the amenities and comforts of home. No details have been missed. With access to crown land 4 km away and 160 acres of private land you can enjoy endless back country adventure.

A large family of 10 or group of friends can enjoy this home which boasts 1 king bedroom, 1 bedroom room with a single and double bed.

The lower level has a shared but divided space with 2 single beds and 1 King bed with a spacious double vanity bathroom in between.

The great room upstairs allows for guests to utilize the sectional sofa if needed.
We can also provide a Hotel Roll-A-Way Cott and Playpen.

The entire space inside/outside - spring, summer and fall allows for a beautiful areas for outdoor gatherings. In the winter bring your sleds (skidoos), skis/snowboards for Fernie and Kimberly Alpine Resort adventures.

However, this space is also amazing for family and friend celebrations. We also welcome Wellness Management Companies for their annual Retreats.

The bathrooms come equipped with all the necessary amenities. No need to bring any toiletries. Even soap, shampoo, conditioners, lotions and extras are provided.

As for the fully equipped kitchen, only bring your groceries. This amazingly spacious kitchen has EVERYTHING you need to make meals. Right down to a crock pot. Coffee, Teas, Sugar, Spices, Garbage Bags, Paper Towel ect... are provided.

Now for the view from the lanai, Majestic and stunning is what you'll say.

All guests have use of their own private campfire area with wood provided at a minimal cost upon arrival.
With a new and larger hottub (at the request of our loyal guests) you can enjoy an evening/morning soak.
On the property we have our resident dog Dawson if you want to take a walk or go hiking.
Free HighSpeed WIFI, 3 Smart TVs, all the ementies and a great space for everyone.
Sounds to good to be true, well it's not. Booking your getaway here will be unforgettable.

Joanne’s property is its own little piece of heaven. All the amenities were perfect, with the hot tub and backyard fire-pit being exactly what we needed after long days exploring and adventuring in the lakes and rivers nearby.Our host was also so welcoming and helpful with things we needed. This home is located equidistant from Fernie and Kimberly Mountains. It was clean and spacious. It was a very comfortable home. The owners were onsite and very friendly. We loved our experience and would be looking to rent it again if we return to ski in the future.

What a beautiful and relaxing property. It literally felt like home. Only thing you need is your clothes and food. We had a short stay but will definitely be booking for a longer one. Joanne and her husband are great people. Always making sure you had everything you need.

friends/family getaway

We stayed for a skiing/sledding trip. The property was very clean and had everything one would need. The hosts are very welcoming and gracious. We were 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs….. the space was plenty big for all of us. We would definitely return. Thanks again Jo-Anne, John and Dawson.

Family holiday in the snow

Property was great host were friendly and eager to please. If you prefer giving vacation money to hard working individuals that use their own money to supply vacationers with good facilities in a nice quiet area with a very natural environment try this place. Special thx to host for letting us park our snowmobiles in heated shop at night to thaw out during the colder than normal week. 👍👍

Fabulous Vacation & Get Away In Style!

We stayed at this amazing property whose hosts ( Joanne and John) were nothing but fantastic!! We wanted a quiet get away in a clean, amazing property and we got way more then expected. The house had everything we could have wanted and needed. The hot tub was amazing, especially at night in the mountains. We did a lot of hiking as there is a lot of places to walk to. Cranbrook is only about a 30 minute drive to if you need to get into town. The site pictures are excellent but they do not do justice to this property. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if I had the option to score that high. We would definitely return if the schedule allows!!

Awesome Way To Close Out Summer 2022!!

One of the best properties to visit! Hosts, Joanne and John are awesome and ready to make this one of the most positive vacations sites. The house has every convenience one requires and the location is quiet and has such lovely scenery. We visited in June and had such an amazing time we brought our friends back for the week. We all can't wait to come back next year!!

Exactly what I was looking for

Tucked away on a hillside, serene, spectacular view, and amazing experience. Oodles of room for us 4 adults and two dogs. We love the outdoors and this place had plenty of room to explore and lots of places around to visit. The fire pit, hot tub, and patio heater gave us several ways to enjoy the property in the winter while staying warm. JoAnne and John were super friendly and accomodating. We have one dog that is very fear aggressive, and they were awesome in working that out with their dog Dawson, who was incredibly tolerant when our dogs met by surprise (my fault). I would have loved to hang out with Dawson more, he just melts into your hands. The house was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had more than enough kitchen amenities. The layout of the house would make having a couple families with kids easy. Great stay, keeping this one on my favorites list!

Wonderful Trip!

Joanne’s property was one of the cleanest home rentals we have experienced. It was well stocked, spacious and the mountain views are incredible. Dawson was a great tour guide 🐾. We hope to return soon!

Perfect location

The property has a good location and very clear. Technically it has only 3 bedrooms not 5. The upper level has a master bedroom with the king size and small room with the double and single beds. The lower level has an open concept with the two theater partitions so there is no privacy, plus the concrete floor is not worm and comfortable. It feels like you're in basement but it could be advantage in summer time. Upper floor has a huge open area to celebrate something. Otherwise it is good house for 2 or maximum 3 families.

Beautiful setting and amazing hosts!!

From the moment we arrived it felt like we were visiting old family friends! Joanne made sure we had everything we needed, and the house was clean, cozy, and stocked with all the necessities. We have 8 children and everyone slept so well! Our children felt safe to roam the property, and we knew if we needed something Joanne or John would be right there! The views are stunning, so if you are needing to unplug, this is a great place to do it! We are already dreaming of our next stay!
