Cosy holiday home with breathtaking lake views—just 50 minutes from Oslo

Just 50 minutes from Oslo lies this quaint, older holiday home, which features plenty of wood and a warm, cosy atmosphere. The house accommodates 4 to 6 people and is ideal for families. Pets are allowed upon prior consultation with the owner before booking.

The holiday home is situated on a hill surrounded by unspoiled nature and offers a magnificent, sweeping view of the sea. It’s the perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet and relax. A short drive of about 12 km takes you to the small town of Sande, which offers shopping and restaurants. The surrounding area also features several charming villages and small towns that are perfect for day trips, including Svelvik, Holmestrand, Holmsbu, Drammen, Larvik, and Sandefjord.

Not far from the house is a train station, from which Oslo is easily accessible by train. There are numerous hiking trails around the holiday home, and a body of water suitable for swimming is just a short distance away. The region is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. A small motorboat can be rented separately by arrangement and with advance booking.

The open, natural property offers plenty of space, peace, and privacy and is an ideal starting point for hiking and biking tours. Parking is available in a large public car park about 150 metres from the house. Right next to the house, a terrace, patio furniture, and a portable grill invite you to cook and eat outdoors.

The house is not wheelchair accessible.

There are no additional utility costs.

Guests must bring their own bed linens and towels, though these can be rented for a fee.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker. About 20 metres behind the house is a separate shower house with a toilet and shower.

The living area is approximately 60 m². The house is designed to accommodate 4 to 6 people and features two sleeping alcoves, each equipped with a double bed and a bunk bed. In addition, a separate guest house with a double bed is available.

A special highlight:
The breathtaking lake view is a true experience in every season. Furthermore, just a two-minute walk directly in front of the house is a gently sloping sandy beach, ideal for swimming.
